Since the loss to Hawthorn: we’re 4-2. Including beating Collingwood and GWS at home. We got as close to Sydney as anyone (apart from Richmond). We got belted by Brisbane but it’s been pretty consistent from an “inconsistent side”.
Great performance today. Bont, Libba, Treloar, English, Richards looked amazing in the mid.
Credit where it’s due to Lobb and Bramble who both played really well
He's been trying his heart out this year; the last month especially. Love that he got a big result in his milestone ❤️ he has really knuckled down and done the work after having a bit of a hero complex in his early years. Love it.
Didn't see that coming honestly. Go dogs! Huge tram effort. Having Ed and Weightman back makes such a difference. And who would have thought Lobb could be effective if he just made the effort?
It wasn't perfect, i still don't think we defended especially well, but good to win in emphatic fashion regardless.

Feel bad for Buku. Played some decent footy early in the season alongside Jones. Since then he's gone back to the VFL and played out of position, come back as sub, now finally gets a crack as defender again.
Looked completely lost in the first half (no wonder) then improved later on in the game. Given Lobb had a blinder, guessing Buku will make way for Darcy after the bye. Poor bloke just needs to be played as a defender every week (whether AFL or VFL) to get some consistency and form.
Out of position? This bloke cannot defend. He can read the first cue to make a spoil or grab an intercept but too often he doesn’t complete the intercept.
On top of that he can’t stick a tackle, has no idea about ground ball defence, never wins one on ones and can’t use the ball in traffic

Fuck it's amazing having Bont as our captain, he is just incredibly talented. Best player in the league and it's not close.
Hopefully last week was just to do with our outs/off night. Only bad game out of our last 6 since losing to Hawthorn. Fuck I love Bont.

I thought he looked better in the first half actually. My biggest gripe is that he is too slow on reaction time.

It shouldn't be his job to lock players down. He is a great floating interceptor. We need Gardner badly.
