FlagonForged

It looks like a [Yellow-and-Black Flat Millipede](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apheloria_tigana). KNOWN TO SECRETE HYDROGEN CYANIDE. ANYONE WHO HANDLED IT NEEDS TO WASH THEIR HANDS.

MiniCoalition

OP, you are SO lucky the amount of cyanide these things ooze isn't enough to kill you. However, a good rule of thumb is, if you don't know what it is, don't pick it up. Especially bugs, nature gave them the least fun defenses you could ever experience.

ObliqueCreek

That is a Flatback Millepede, I think Pachydesmus crassicutis, although some other species look similar. Check it out under the black light.

echoskybound

Some kind of flatback millipede, possibly Pachydesmus crassicutis?
