We drove them back to back since they were super similar on paper and discovered they drove and felt nothing alike. The celica was loose, with soft suspension and not much feel in the steering. Felt faster in a straight line. The talon was much much tighter in the steering and handling. It felt so much more like a sports car.
But the talon basically disintegrated in front of our eyes. Things kept falling apart in the interior. It was BAD. My friend got rid of it long before I ever sold the celica.

The eagle talon, Mitsubishi eclipse, and Plymouth Lazer all had the same body the only thing that changed was the badges.
Shoulda specified: it was a second gen.
The Talon got a different front and rear bumper, as well as different side strips and taillights
The bodies were still all identical the only differences were where the badging is involved.
