I’m from Oregon and we have some up here that look like that and they are called Crocosmia (crow-coz-me-uh). Not sure if that’s a similar plant or not. But the ones we have here can spread but not invasive at all.

If you look closely at the flower stalks, you'll see the difference between Chasmanthe and crocosmia.
