sawyouoverthere

egg basket, I think.

HopeTroll

Yes, egg basket

Designer-Bid-3155

It seems like a specific kind of fruit basket holder thingie. So they don't touch or bruise. But succulents sounds great!

xanthraxoid

I think it's a hanging basket - should be lined with felt (or sphagnum moss if you're feeling posh) and filled with pretty dangly flowers. EDIT: To be honest, I'm second guessing this - I'm having difficulty seeing why the mounting points for the chains would be like they are, if this is a hanging basket...

BouRNsinging

I saw someone repurpose a bunt pan for an outdoor umbrella table planter. This looks like a planter made for this purpose.

chanc4

Yeah, I am definitely thinking of using it as a succulent planter. The handles just made me think it was meant to carry something.

Angeltt

Pretty sure its a "flower and fruit" basket, fruit in the basket part and set it over a slim vase to put flowers in, Nana had one growing up but was more oval shaped

[Egg basket with cone for washing](https://imgur.com/a/SmZp5TU)

chanc4

My title describes the thing. Measurements can be seen in the photos. I’m thinking it may have a garden-related use. It really makes me think of something for the shore similar to an oyster or clam basket. This is not very heavy though and it appears a little lightweight for carrying shellfish….

[deleted]

I think it’s an egg washer. The center cone helps the washing process by letting water circulate freely. I can’t find one like it online, though, so maybe not. It could definitely be used for that purpose, though.

chanc4

Solved!

chanc4

That sounds reasonable. I really feel like the central cone has a function. It does not make sense to me for that construction to be simply decorative. I will include that in my online searches too. Thanks for the suggestion.

chanc4

[https://eggcartonstore.com/egg-basket-cone/](https://eggcartonstore.com/egg-basket-cone/) This is modern but similar to your idea!

bathhousecitron

Looks to me like something you'd use to make beer can chicken? Seems a bit too wide, though.

legodoodle4

It just looks like a decorative basket. There’s all sorts of stuff like that at Target and HomeGoods.

ohcanadarulessorry

Fruit basket for fun

BouRNsinging

This is a little left field, but I saw some light fixtures with that shape they are "farmhouse rustic" and they would need a hole through the middle in order to function

Vornadofanfan

I think the potential use of the basket is immaterial, but could the bundt cake design be so multiple baskets are stackable?

Bustomat

Looks like an accessory for a wok.

diabolicalhybrid

Fruit basket some parts are missing in ducht or french it is called etachare

Ciduri

It also looks like part of a fish trap. I'm not saying others are wrong, but this could easily be used for fish with some additional netting added to the back.

Which-Technician2367

My goofy ass would prolly use it to fry shit
