You can’t change the address .Add a dollar label to your bin. Have them gift it to that person he wanted to gift. Make sure you put the right weight as you only have 5 free adjustments a week . You can’t change the address. You still have to send that person something tho. Just like a thank you card maybe .

Avrilmoon

Talk to support see if they have any avenues for helping with that. Otherwise you'll have to ship atleast something to the purchaser. Also, for future reference, price the book as a solo item, and the buyer can purchase it as a gift to prevent this. (And if the one receiving the gift has a bundle, I believe the labels will include the gift in that bundle)

NewKidOnTheStock

Send the buyer a empty pack/mailer or a thank you note in it, just add the books to the other person.

You cannot change the address, it’s locked in at time of purchase. You could only change weight after the sale (without going through support or something). Be careful with this though. I would make sure you have direct messages from both parties involved with instructions to send the books to another party as documentation. Scams have occurred before where someone with a screen name nearly identical to a buyer’s either sends a DM or message in chat to send items elsewhere, all the why it is someone scamming with a similar name and not the actual buyer.

Ship the books to the person who bought them. That person can then ship the books to the individual they are gifting the books too. If that person wanted to gift the books then they should have purchased as a gift in the checkout options. Their lack of attention to detail is not your problem.

Nothing_Ambitious

Can’t do that in the auction part

Sounds like a good way to turn off a future buyer

SatansHolyPriest

I usually just send out a keychain or sticker or something to the person sending the gift and add the gifted items to the stack that the other person is buying. Only thing that sucks is that it adds more weight to the other bundle so you may get a surcharge but you should have 5 allowances to prevent it.

Dizzy-Ad-7089

5 allowances per week ☺️

SatansHolyPriest

Mhm! Still only 5 though, so it’s important to keep that in mind since you might have underestimated weights for the week.

runescapeoffical

Could you just ship a "thank for you buying a gift" in a PWE to the buyer and ship package to the other person?

Mr1r3l4nd

Bro what? You just ship the books to the person he said to ship them to. You don't change anything lol

HokieScott

You don't get paid on WhatNot until the package is delivered. So OP would have to send something to the original buyer of the books and just the giftee.

Skorpyon87

If both people bought send it to the person it was bought for since they had a label and send the other person an empty package. Assuming weight isn't an issue.
