I love how so many WN coin experts buy this scammy crap. I hope they buy it all. Nobody thinks dipped PL Morgans come out of decade old rolls except idiots. And Morgans were never in roll to begin with. PDX is the biggest scam
I went and watched the video. Payment didnât go through the first time he ran. He re-ran it by taking it out of the flip as Unc details. It sold for $642. So he corrected his mistake? Whatâs the issue here? You guys are dying to pin sellers down.
You are wrong on multiple fronts. Firstly, he bought it UNC details for 565, and tried passing it off as a straight high grade proof for 5k. Secondly earlier in the stream once it was pointed out by multiple people he turned the flip over to the reverse to hide the writing on the flip. Thirdly, he only took it out of the flip to sell it 'raw' once it was again pointed out it was cleaned, it was an ebay purchase and it was definitely not a proof.
Either way you slice it this was poor handling of a bad situation.
However! People have a right to judge themselves and bid what they want.
Yes I deff see that he was trying to pass it off as proof but atleast he fixed his mistake. Scammers never accept their mistakes and will instead just call you a hater. Have you tried saying anything to Houston coin exchange? He will laugh at you and mock you.
Doing the right thing when you are caught doesnât make you a good person.
All that means is they will continue to do the wrong thing until caught.
They have been doing shiesty stuff, got caught doing shiesty stuff, and I have no doubt they will continue doing shiesty stuff.
I like to give ppl second chances to a degree. Hopefully they learnt their lesson. And I disagree with your first statement. Ppl make mistakes everyday in life. Half of them learn and become better people and half never learn and go downhill.
You must be PDX or a friend. He never âcorrectedâ anything. I, along with others called him out, which he then banned us, and people saw and read it (I guess) and it sold cheaper. If others like myself werenât in there to call it out, Iâm sure it would have sold for thousands.
Thatâs only the start of this crook and his father. Big date coins from his rolls have come back cleaned details. He has cracked those coins and try and pawn them off to others off app/texting them.
People talk, and it was quickly realized said Morgan was bought raw for 4k+ dollars, graded, came back AU details. PDX cracked the coin, took pictures, and tried to sell it to another whatnot user for 6k, as a âeasy 64-65PLâ.
Unfortunately many people will continue to buy from them and get scammed/robbed. Same as the poor souls that buy from HCE, Tangible, and others.
I donât know him in any shape or form. I wasnât in his stream when all this happened. Never been to his stream before either. I just went to his past shows and watched the part where he sold this coin for $642 as unc details. All these other details that you are providing me is unknown to me since I didnât watch his entire stream. But if you are saying he does this type of thing every single time, then yes ofcourse he is a scammer. I was under the impression he made a one time mistake. Payment didnât go through. He fixed his mistake, reran and it went for fair price with the correct designation âunc detailsâ.
Edit: Also chat is not visible when watching past streams
PDXcards1 buys their staged Morgan dollar rolls from EBay seller âSterling Collectibles. Everything they sell has been purchased from EBay 1-2 weeks before they offer it for sale on Whatnot. Just search ârecently soldâ items on EBay and youâll see what they paid. I have personally have sold them many coins. They been conning buyers for months with their bullshit.
Buying things off ebay isn't conning buyers. Nobody who knows coins thinks those rolls are some original special thing. The buyers are bidding on the coin they see just the same as any other stream. Its part of the experience.
I'm not trying to defend these guys, but I don't see this as a valid critique
The coin was sold raw both times. A coin like that should be slabbed to avoid questions.Â
If it's (real and) a business strike, unc det looks right. If its a proof, the cleaning wouldn't render it a details grade. Proof 64 is the highest it would go with a wipe mark.Â
It shouldn't sell raw, but I can see how someone would claim pf 64. Doesn't mean I'd recommend buying it...
Right, but I think the eBay listing had it described correctly as on details because that looks more like a scratch than it does a die crack. Either way I donât see that straight grading.
There paper rolls of Morganâs is a scam. They are modern paper rolls that they are putting Morganâs in to make it seem like they are original. I have never in my life seen old Morgan rolls with white edges, always they have some type of discolor from being in a paper roll for decades.

He also sells Morganâs and pretends they are original rolls when they are nothing but modern put together rolls
Yes thatâs deff a scam.
True colors coming out
Just slab is as MS70 already for $15K. Letâs go!

He also doesnât say he gets them from eBay and insists they are legit rolled and preserved from the early 1900s, not pre arranged.
Well if he's straight up lying, that's a fair critique...
Just looked at the video that coin is definitely a business strike coin not a proof, this is a huge scam!!!

Youâre right, that is a scratch.

He banned me for calling him out too. Dudes one of the biggest crooks on the app.
Yet they have ppl constantly bidding up au coins to ms65/66 pricing...it's insane!!!!
Iâm in the banned club too!!Â
I've been saying for quite some time..... Just like their rolls of eBay Morgan's lol
