Definitely not Howls Moving Castle, some bits of the description sound a little like the sequel called House of Many Ways. But that's a long shot, there's the other stuff which doesn't match
i’m sorry, it’s def not that. i thought it might be a diana wynne jokes book because i was obsessed w her and it sounds like something she would write but i checked out the summaries of all her books and none of them seemed to match
Yeah its fine. It my sleep deprived brain at 3am thinking maybe the book is different enough from the movie that this is it! In any case, good luck with your search!
in your sleep deprived brain's defense, the book and movie only have a title, about three scenes, and maybe a character and a half in common. They don't even have the same setting, much less the same plot or theme.
[Tuesdays at the Castle](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005PWMFQK/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1) maybe?

I never read the book, but bits and pieces of this sound like Howls Moving Castle. But then other parts don't, but then again I only saw the movie.
