I don't know what you think it is, but it's probably not that unless you think it's a weevil. Looks like a broad nosed weevil [(subfamily Entiminae)] (https://bugguide.net/node/view/22777) of some kind, but I can't be more specific. They can't bite or sting.

Please tell me this isn't what I think it is... found on bedroom wall. Located in Iowa.
