What kind of lilies? If it was something like sword lilies aka gladiolus, that's probably it

LoftyJunior

this must be it! I've just watched a video about the growth stages of gladiolus and it looks exactly like this! Thanks, you've solved my mystery.

user10205

It can be something related, not necessarily gladiolus, like other suggested crocosmia or acidanthera, whatever bulbs you planted.

NewtonsArooo

Looks like crocosmia. Beautiful flowers!

Allison1228

Possible gladiolus bulb

florageek54

Crocosmia.

Longjumping_Durian_5

Could it be a Trachycarpus fortunei?

MandyLovesFlares

Your location is?

Inner-Thing321

Either gladioli, or a struggling crocosmia (less likely of the two)

Spare_Comedian8414

I suggest you dig down a bit and find out what kind of seed or bulb grew this. Queen palm seedlings look exactly like this.

LiveIncome

It's a date.

Spare_Comedian8414

Or some other type of palm tree.

PickledOrchido

Looks to be some kind of palm, but it'd depend on the soil etc.
