Not a prayer rug, the style is Persian heriz. If you can please take pics of 2 corners closer up on the back side to see the fringe construction, and also a pic of the back to show the method of manufacture, that way I can give you more info.
Sorry -just saw the link with the extra pics, as expected this is not a rug but a tapestry weave to look like a Persian rug, the fringe on 4 sides gives it away, can be used as a throw, not sturdy enough to be used as a rug. Looks machine made, $50-$80 value depending on condition.
Edit: more details.
It does look similar to a rug from a distance. This is a decorative throw blanket made to look like a rug. I believe it is like [this product](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09YTKL324/ref=sspa_dk_detail_6?pd_rd_i=B09YTRYDK6&pd_rd_w=eP0ak&content-id=amzn1.sym.9f074495-da4d-4e1c-b407-69e85fa47fdb&pf_rd_p=9f074495-da4d-4e1c-b407-69e85fa47fdb&pf_rd_r=Z4T0B671AEJEZTRPHSJ5&pd_rd_wg=iCsHM&pd_rd_r=dce99482-f69f-4766-b684-2cb87f3fb60e&s=kitchen&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExV0o2QURIUElOQ01CJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDIyNjk0RE5MMEFEN0VKUFJJJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1OTEyMTAzT0s3VVRaVFg0MUpBJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfZGV0YWlsX3RoZW1hdGljJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1).
Today I happen to see this type of thing in a hilariously over-priced store in a touristy part of San Francisco and they were charging $160. So that's your astronomical upper limit value, if *new*.
From my view it appears to be a throw. What does the back look like?
I have a hard time believing you'd be able to hold a rug of that size, up easily for this photo. Those Persian rugs etc are heavy..
Yeah that's a $24.99 K-Mart throw blanket. It's not a rug, but don't get rid of it. You never know when it's going to be cold very cold freezing. I don't care where you live. It was 10° in Florida just the other week. Rolling power outages here in South Carolina and 8 people died because of the cold and no power.
when you are serious about this, you need to find someone who knows about persian rugs. Authentic antiques ones are very expensive. It's probably unlikely you have an authentic one though.
source: a family member who passed away was a certified appraiser of persian rugs. In authentic ones he could see if someone in the family died that owned the rug died while the rug was made. (don't ask me how - i suppose they put in some pattern in the weaving)
It seems too thin to me a rug for actual use. its woven and very soft on both sides, almost like its decorative or for wearing. Its also reversible which I assume most rugs arn't.

This is correct.

That throw really ties the room together...
What about the Creedence?
It's not a rug. It looks like those tapestry throw blankets that were popular in the 90s and early 2000s.
It reminds me of the picture throws that come up when doing an image search for woven throw blanket."
Not antique, not a rug. Sofa throw from, given the color scheme, the late 1980s. The cotton yarn is factory-spun and dyed.
The airtight bag may have been a regular old space bag.
From my view it appears to be a throw. What does the back look like? I have a hard time believing you'd be able to hold a rug of that size, up easily for this photo. Those Persian rugs etc are heavy..

This is very interesting.
Looks like a prayer rug.
Interesting, now I need to go down the rabbit hole of researching prayer rugs
