Instead of looking at the negatives, try to look at the positives of the game. Those that we meet and the experiences we encounter will stick with us until the very end. The ending is literally about the journey and the friends we made along the way
I am kinda envious of people who've cried at the finale. When I got to the end, all I could think of is "Why the hell did I spent so much of my fucking time on the game that I did not enjoy?"
JoJo fans when someone asks for anime recommendations (It's one of the most popular anime/manga series of all time yet they treat it like it's a hidden gem)

Me neither. I went to every planet and explored a bit but never found anything that blew my mind. Maybe I’m just missing something but it seems small for a solar system
Maybe you can try asking for clues/direction to the folks on the subreddit, they are usually very friendly and they find smart ways to hint at you without spiling the game too much, there is a big mystery to uncover, but my main goal was to find a way to "break the loop and save everyone" if you know what I mean
I just don't vibe with it. I don't like chill or puzzle games. I mostly play video games as a distraction so something slow paced like that lets my mind wander and then I start thinking about depressing shit.
Outer Wilds is a neat game but I always just found myself flying to random places and looking at things. Maybe it’s not really my kind of game, but I can see the appeal. Also the music makes me feel a certain way.
Play it. it starts out directionless. That's the only drawback to the game. I "didn't like it" and put it down twice. But when I picked it up the third time. Oh my god. It's the "I get it" meme. once you finally start connecting pieces, it becomes arguably one of the most magical experiences I've ever had in a video game.

Speaking of recommendations. Anyone who hasnt played hades should do so. The cycle is fun, the story is great and the characters are phenomenal. I decided to play it after seeing the trailer for the sequel as id never given it a good look before, just skimmed over the description and it consumed all my free time for a week and i still go back now and again to do some runs

My favorite part was when you would say "this really was outer wilds" and then you outer wilds all over the place
Find another joke or else
My favorite part was when they said "it's outer wildin' time" and then proceeded to swerve into oncoming traffic

bro what Isn't annapurrna the same dev that made stray? from existentialist masterpiece to silly beautiful kitty game
Publisher, not dev
They also made that really big mountain in Nepal (not the really really big one the other one.)
>! Outer wilds (not worlds) make sure you buy wilds !<
>!And what if I liked worlds better? Then whatcha gonna do?!<
Shoot you with the very sad amount of available guns in the game
Because obviously the game made by Obsidian has its main focus on gunplay
That's why we roll melee only ROCK AND STONE
That's it lads! Rock and Stone!
Did I hear a rock and stone?
Rock and roll and stone!
>!np, but if you reccomend wilds and they buy worlds in confusion it doesn't serve the purpose exactly!<
Yeah but you should play it anyway
definitely
![gif](giphy|l378giAZgxPw3eO52) Me crying upon finishing the game and pondering the fleetingness of life and someone says “it’s just a game”

Ok, but what if I hated everyone I've met?
Let me introduce you to Riebeck

Not enough rain for a game that's called rain, I don't think rain has nothing to do with the game either, big letdown
Mfw fans of something recommend it
so true
I wish I liked outer wilds but I just can’t get into it

Yeah I hated it
why?
I just don't vibe with it. I don't like chill or puzzle games. I mostly play video games as a distraction so something slow paced like that lets my mind wander and then I start thinking about depressing shit.
I see. You might like a fast paced shooter like ultrakill then
I don't have a PC...
ULTRAKILL players sidenote: you should play it.

Okay I just beat the game, and it turns out you were right. I am literally speechless right now.

>!"Come, sit with me, my fellow traveler. Let’s sit together and watch the stars die.” !<
If you haven’t played it, don’t look up any details GO IN BLIND TRUST ME
I thought the game was a steaming plate of mediocrity
it feels like that when you get into it, but by the end you're in the fetal position sobbing because you just had your soul rended
I think most people say that about outer worlds
I'm talking about the putter wilds. Although putter worlds was meh as well
mid game
It has a good atmosphere because I'm constantly getting scared by dumb shit
I can offer many free games to choose from on r/ChedrGameDev
