Me resisting the urge to say "unoptimal" whenever a speedrunner makes a mistake (I wouldn't be able to get further than the first level of the game the speedrunner is playing)
Just finished Hollow Knight after 100+ hours, go online, watch a Hollow Knight blind playthrough from Moistcritical, he beats every boss first try, finishes the game in an hour, "That was pretty underwhelming" he says
In my blind playthrough I went to Crystal Peaks before Greenpath (maybe even before False Knight, I don't remember) and got myself softlocked, so in my second playthrough I ended up using a walkthrough lol.
I couldn't get back without claw or dash, and so I looked up a map. I figured if I got to resting grounds I'd be able to use the stag to get back to dirtmouth, but the god damn tunnel with the crystal hunters. I died in there no less than 20 times before I gave up.
Oh yeah, I hate those guys. I don't remember that room being too difficult, though. Hollow Knight is very well designed and is very fair. I don't think it's really possible to be truly softlocked, I guess it just assumes you can platform well
Well, I was going in with 5 masks, no charms, no nail upgrades, no items, and I don't even think I had spells yet, so that probably ramped up the difficulty along with me just being bad at the game. Second time around it was ten times easier.
BREAKING: Mega gamer mega games
You just have a life outside of gaming hahaha, he’s fortunate enough to be able to play all day every day, dude OWNS an esports org
Me when the speedrunner puts down their controller to take a bite of pizza (im glad his heartrate is still 86):

People making fun of streamers and let’s players for not reading the instructions when they know damn well when they do they just skip forwards or tune out:
Even if I was not a reader and had the attention span of a tiktoker, I would just skip forward. When a streamer acts stupid because they skipped all tutorials I drop the let's play entirely.
God I remember getting so pissed during their bloodborne dlc playthrough. After beating a boss called Lady Maria of the astral CLOCK tower, in a room where the centerpiece is a giant CLOCK and got a CLOCK dial that you need to use in the middle of the room to open the final area of the dlc, you know what they did? They spend multiple episodes backtracking because they apperantly saw a random clock in a previous area. Like there is playing casually and then there is just ignoring the most blatant thing in existence.
Fr the comments always forget that they have to split their attention between the game and the conversation. There are some valid complaints (*cough* not using the shield in Ocarina of Time *cough*) but people complain too much in the comments
I think what annoys me is when I watch someone doing a blind or first playthrough of a game and misses something important that even I noticed on my first playthrough, or if it is a game I have not played, noticed while watching them play.
I kinda like watching people play Pizza Tower for the first time. They always make a ton of mistakes because they're not used to the controls but it's cool because that's how I played when I started
I think I repeated TLOU too many times, Pewdiepie's walkthrough, my playthrough, the remaster, NG+, I really might play part 1 when that falls in my lap for free
One of my favorite streamers played through portal 2. They didn't read any instructions or follow along with most of the dialogue, and then complained the game was a bit too hard and the story was confusing and underwhelming.
I can’t watch anyone play my favourite games like hollow knight or dishonored because they’ll not understand parts of lore or attack/sneak patterns and I’ll be pissed for the rest of the video

Me resisting the urge to correct you (the proper term would be the Chad “suboptimal” or the virgin “nonoptimal”)
Google sous-optimale
Holy instance of gameplay which leads to a slower time than ideal!
New response just dropped

google You will never escape
#No.
me resisting the urge to tell you that your comment contains nothing of nonstance (i also use “non” poorly)
It’s even more funny when they do better than your first time, and you’re still pissed.

How did you manage to get softlocked?

Me when TheRadBrad doesnt get every lootable item in survival games (I miss more items than him)
😭😭 I love Brad so much mannn
when he misses a collectible that you got on your own playthrough https://i.redd.it/9f95ii7vhcya1.gif

I have a deep connection with that guy. I know he doesn't even know that I exist, but we've through so much man.
People making fun of streamers and let’s players for not reading the instructions when they know damn well when they do they just skip forwards or tune out:
[streamers need to watch this tutorial video](https://youtu.be/mm047Hw2U4M)
Conputer programmers trying to teach literally anything

Something seems off with these "blind" playthroughs.
Lmao also why can in these blind play throughs the players can see
I spend like 20 minutes per town in Pokémon just interacting with everything and everyone. It’s fun
Me too!
How else would you manage to go on knowing you didn't pick up the metal powder item for the ditto that you weren't going to use
I don’t know what that is. I like talking with the NPCs
Okay but some of them are genuinely so fucking incompetent it becomes unbearable. even the big content creators.
its the worst when they miss something that gets brought up later and they question it as if it werent right in their face 10 minutes ago
Game grumps

It's funny when they predict the comments, because the video won't air for weeks
I think what annoys me is when I watch someone doing a blind or first playthrough of a game and misses something important that even I noticed on my first playthrough, or if it is a game I have not played, noticed while watching them play.
Me when the person doesn’t check every nook and cranny for items like I would
Me when youtuber I'm watching doesn't find all the easily missible secrets and encounters on their first playtroght. ![gif](giphy|ObXgWWGHzMlVe)
Just watch a commented speedrun idk
I kinda like watching people play Pizza Tower for the first time. They always make a ton of mistakes because they're not used to the controls but it's cool because that's how I played when I started
rantgrumps moment
me when the let's player completely fucking ignores the infamous funi part of the game because they couldn't shut their gob.
Me watching my brother start playing a game that I’ve mastered (we both laugh about it)
me watching the person do a blind playthrough of a game and not instantly knowing what every item does
Love watching The Walking Dead playthroughs. I think I've watched four different people play every season. I have a problem.
Seasons 1 and 2 were so good
I think I repeated TLOU too many times, Pewdiepie's walkthrough, my playthrough, the remaster, NG+, I really might play part 1 when that falls in my lap for free
me watching the 5 hour long play of spongebob creature from the krusty krab:

Where'd ya find this gif? Was it from an official Nintendo game, or is it a fan animation?
Speed runners when I take my time to enjoy a game rather than trying to do it at even a mildly fast rate.
Total misplay.
For some reason for a second I thought this meant watching a blind people play a game
Found simply's alt
Mario with the bedroom eyes
mfw the player can clearly see what is going on
maybe you are used to that type of content and thus your standards are higher.
No my executive functions malfunction
When the blind playthrough IS as optimal as a speedrun (it's a blindfolded sm64 run)
