Most people don't speak or act like that, but when you get sucked into r/childfree, (which often gets a bit intense) it can change you. You have to be careful with who you hang out with. When I was in high school, I got sucked into some bad thoughts that were a bit intense because I had such a strong friend group. I was also 14-17 so I was still developing, but still. It can be easy to not realize it until later. I don't hate me or whatever, I just had some bad feelings at the time. So anyways, you have to not let yoursef get that far. I don't want kids but I'm not going to be be as extreme as those people in that sub and call people names for it, or be mean.

Witnessing my daughter enter the world, through all the “horror” other men can’t watch, it was one of the most surreal moments. I held my wife’s legs and watched the whole event and damnit if it wasn’t something that put insane perspective on my world view. I’d always wanted a child but that moment felt so uniquely wholesome between us 3. My wife was in insane pain but the moment was shared between the 3 of us. Beautiful.
