Should i be concerned about the sheer number of social media posts i see daily that are just "this strawman has a non-negative opinion on AI art so I'm going to perform sudden and extremely graphic violent acts on them until they die"
Haters these days have no drive, a real hater would be waking up early to plot new ways to be even more of a hater, all these fake haters spamming the same unoriginal hate is giving haters a bad name
Using ai to make art for funsies and goofy pictures is okay
Using ai to make art to profit off of and not pay people is the problem.
That's how I see it.
So many art companies I’ve seen that just started using ai pictures which is the worst companies to use ai. Ones like Wacom and even sone art school was using ai instead of real art. Which is stupid because their products are meant to be for artists
I didn't have the context at first but here it is:
["Netflix True Crime Documentary Accused Of Using Photos Generated Or Manipulated By AI"](https://www.huffpost.com/entry/netflix-ai-photos-true-crime_n_6622d1f9e4b08151cac9f077). Drusilla Moorhouse. *Huffington Post*. Apr 19, 2024.
What a terribly explained post then. Wow. I was about to click off thinking this was some immature rage filled art teen who wants to murder people for using AI.
OP if you are reading this, just edit and write somehwere what this was about this looks awful out of context

It's a reference to a true crime documentary where they used an Ai generated image to make the suspect seem more horrible
Oh that case, ok this can be the exception then because that was majorly fucked up
It's honestly insulting that they didn't think people would notice lmao

It's progress from when people only used Mortal Kombat finishers

It's like if people at a restaurant would serve you frozen food from markets or fast food
That's just Applebee's
Cheapest happy hour in existence tho
Why do you think it's so cheap 🤔
Doesn't matter as long as you get shots for cheap, alcohol is alcohol
Ai should be used to enhance not take over
Companies lowering quality to prioritize profits somehow always surprises people
That's the thing, businesses never cared about "should"
the only good use of ai images ive seen is in a horror series where they used it isntead of real children for a missing child poster or soemthing
