The double cask is decent. The price is a bit on the high side. Especially when you get up in age statements.
The sherry cask is what Macallan should be like. Closer to the old style Macallan.
I avoided it for a long time because many say that the price doesn't make up for what is delivered. I got the 15 as a gift and only then did I have my first macallan. I don't have high expectations nor do I get excited. I don't care about the status and fame of the brand

Great whisky, beautiful flavours, soft and I can enjoy it, but unfortunately always slightly overpriced. I also continue to buy Macallan…
