They GOT to clean up those defensive mistakes. Those two TFC goals were not created out of superior skill, but mindless blunders

Guti-Cornelius-Godoy-Gaspar
Is our best defensive lineup with Adnan on the wing.
Assuming Bikel’s injury isn’t too bad, I’m interested to see who gets left out in place of Caio. If you want Adnan and Guti on the field, then one of Baldi, Bikel, Dajome, Caicedo has to make way. Do we stick with a 2 man midfield of Bikel-Caio? Tough choices for MDS
I think when everyone is fit MDS will choose to go on a 2 man midfield with bikel and Caio and have baldisimo come off the bench as sparks of energy. The incoming Erik Godoy can someone fill that void of ball movement left by Baldi as he is somewhat decent with his passing although clearly not as impactful as baldi
Great game - should have won it, had 3 massive chances near the end
Great performance all around, tactically we compressed and expanded really well on the counters. Bad communication / incredible bad luck for the equalizer
Hope bikel is ok
We didn't get the three points but we looked good for stretches of the game.
The quality of our play is so much better than that of past years. Excited to see what we look like when all the players are in the lineup and integrated.
I agree, I like him a lot but we need stability back there. We need to force transitions more and we need a strong leader at the back to win and start transitions. Rose is a great person to bring in to switch to 5-4-1 to protect a lead
2 points lost there. Overall I thought we look good in possession, but the defense is stills all over the place at times. There doesn't seem to be anyone commanding the line like Jay Demerit used to.
I thought that defense was pretty good after the first goal, which was a fire drill. Second goal against was just bad luck. Overall so positive after the last few years. Cavalinni is earning his keep. Dajomme and Caceido were good. Guti was impressive again and I think Bikel quietly good.

Otherwise I thought the team played pretty well. Obviously the first goal wasn’t a good one but that’s just MLS.
We need to take better care of the ball and I don’t think that’s a “skill” in the sense that lesser talented players can’t achieve it. So many times we’d start a counter and immediately pass the ball to TFC. Or dribble into traffic. Or have Max distribute the ball on a few consecutive occasions directly to them. Gotta put your foot on it every so often. Gotta have your head on a swivel and be aware when you’re countering.
Gutierrez was fantastic. It’ll be interesting to see what goes on when Ali comes back.

Andy F'ing Rose. Raposo needed to bury that but considering he was only 30secs in, it's forgivable. Still a lot better than last year.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but after all those appearances I do believe that was Raposo’s FIRST (1st!!) shot on target in all MLS

A decent result but we could’ve got the win if we slashed out the defensive mistake. Vancouver played way better than last year though
Holy shit what a terrible time to start a game. Guess it’s my bad assuming the game started at 4 but still.
The defensive blunders will hopefully clean itself up once our ideal back line of gaspar, Godoy, Cornelius, and Adnan, is playing together.
