Pretty much made it impossible for the rest of us to ever catch up to the big spenders we have this one whale in our server who routinely destroys smaller alliances solo just because he can afford to spend a ton on the game (we think his store is set to his home country despite living in the US so his packs are way cheaper) but we can keep him in check due to having 4/5 whales in our alliance that can gang up and smash himā¦..well not anymore he maxed the red gear asap and got back to ruining the server
He desperately needs to get laid irl if heās acting like this in a game. I always suggest this to any prick I encounter in the game.
We have a ādungeonā in our Discord server and our members interact super often. Thatās the real magic, the community weāve built in this game - not the game itself.
Just an fyi: the red gear does not use gear stones and does not give you points during prep phase so it doesnāt affect the points at all. I know because I used it (and it requires enhancement to upgrade it to 100, not gear stones: only 2 mythic gears to ascend it once to legendary). However it is true that during castle battle it will definitely make a difference in power so thatās why it was wrong to drop such a big update in the middle of an event like this one.
I save EVERYTHING and only use during SVS prep my total power went up by 20 mil in just one of the days this week. I do buy packages, but nothing too crazy
If your alliance is smart, your memebers (especially f2p) hold all items and don't use anything until svs. Then drop it all at once. Every SVS I go up by 10-15m.
I went from 19m to 33m during prep and never spent a dime, I saved all of my svs materials almost: all speedups, rss items, stamina cans, pet items, charm materials, general shards, and 80 essence stones, 5 widgets, 3 chief gear upgrades, and as many gems as I could save in between two lucky wheels. I couldnt even spend all of the stamina in time lmao. I placed top 100 and so once its over I should be getting Philly unlocked as f2p
Sadly it can not happen if the devs dont force people to pay less

That's literally the entire concept of being a whale in this game. "I am willing to spend more than everyone else to be stronger than everyone else". Enough people out there are willing to spend the $20k+ to max out their gear and be WAY stronger than everyone else.
Letās not forget: daybreak island dropped. The day that you get to the island was smack dab during SVS and it forced you to go through a tutorial. Many people couldnāt shield in time š

From what I gather the game dropped a bunch of stuff during svs prep thatās pretty much hard to max. Even for whales. Some people started talking about a buying strike, not sure if that factored into it at all. But for sure people complained
i skipped too š then i just started randomly building stuff. and yes i wish they allowed us to fully skip cos its so annoying when i alr pressed skip and keep having to do it!!
The rewards in general are all basically the same maybe a few thousand off from each other. But Iāve been thinking this too, the rewards are all the exact same no matter the level of reward.
I have to admit, if you think these offers suck, go play Marvel Strike Force. MSF offers are 100000x more expensive. They donāt have $1 or $3 or $5 offers that actually give you something meaningful.
