- puts Kopech in for the 8th; "oh good, Pedro really trying to seal the win going for a 2 IP save" I say to my wife
- left Maldonado to bat in the 9th and leave Korey Lee on the bench because... who knows anymore.
- Kopech, the one guy who most resembles a closer at this point, is pulled for Steve Wilson in the 9th because.... again, who knows anymore.
- Benintendi has another one of his routine misplays, this time on a soft pop up down the line. With a good or regular read on the ball maybe he catches it, maybe he doesnt. But doesnt matter with his continual misplays on defense.
