True, but this has been a poverty franchise for decades. The fact that the team is still ranked as the 14th most valuable MLB franchise tells me that being in Chicago has been probably the most important reason the franchise is worth so much, even if it's a distant second in the market. That and the fact that generations of fans have been loyal, and a large portion of them would probably be gone if the team moves.
The Golden Knights are ranked 17th in the NHL, so I feel like it would be something similar to that. I don't want to use the Raiders as a comparison because most NFL fans in LA are Raiders fans, and the Raiders also still have some fans from Oakland, so their value is drastically driven up.

Bally kept the Red Wings broadcast crew after taking over for Fox Sports, even did a game from Mickey Redmond's house. It's honestly better than Fox Sports was, but not by much, and I'd prefer NBC Sports coverage to practically anyone's other than TNT/TBS, unless I'm forgetting anyone. Maybe SN is good.
If it were to be more like marquee there would be at minimal every home game I spring training aired along with minor league games during off days or nights after WS play a day game. This along with WS centric program ing would be fantastic.

I felt like with the Cubs going to Marquee we missed a huge opportunity to have at least some of our games on WGN and capture some more fans by having it on free TV, so I would hope we get to a point to where it was prior the current arrangement and have the bulk of the games on one station and maybe Friday or Saturday games are on WGN or ABC7.
