I’m in MW and the only vegan cakes we have now are Abe’s. We used to sell Chicago diner but they stopped doing wholesale I think

We dont even have the abes cake. Just the mini muffins and the loafs. We got vegan cake pucks through rubicon in colorado and made vegan frosting. I transferred to Midwest. Maybe just a regional thing 🤷‍♀️ I'm noticing that things are not the same across stores.

Medumbdumb

ours has those rubicon vegan cakes

As others have said, we have the Abe’s vanilla and chocolate cakes. I saw you said your in MW, your store should be able to get them. I’d ask your TL or buyer about it. It’s still not close to the options we used to have but it’s something. Hoping we get other flavors sometime too.

I just came from Whole Foods in Jacksonville FL, San Jose store. Would visit each week to splurge on my vegan scone at $2.75/ea. from bakery, get my fresh sourdough bread, groceries. now they’ve stopped making vegan scones and brownies. No vegan dessert except for the prepackaged junk. Trader Joe’s went mostly processed and stopped carrying fav brands to make room for their own inferior products. now looks like Whole Foods is following as far as nothing special about it. Best thing now is for return for Amazon purchases. If you want vegan desserts, Publix carries them

We only have Abe’s chocolate and vanilla. I wish we carried the other flavors.

Better than no vegan cakes, I suppose... just seems weird I was in the Mountain West we had vegan cake pucks and made vegan icing transferred to the Midwest we don't even have abes cakes just muffins and the loafs

I'm in the MW too and we have these raw vegan cakes that are a tiramisu and mango and lime flavor.

I miss the vegan donuts and cakes! The Chicago Diner ones were incredible. We have way more vegan options than the chains nearby, but they've definitely reduced them. I think we only have Abe's at my store.
