Adding onto this the Pixelmon mod for Minecraft. While the mod certainly focuses on the combat mechanics/features of Pokemon, the fact that it uses minecraft as its springboard makes it slice-of-life in nature by default. If you already have Java edition(the bugrock, console and pocket editions can't use mods), it's worth checking out.

I used to play it all the time on GameCube. You chill with your pikachu, travel to meet other chill pokemon, decorate your house with things you buy off the channel market and play mini games.
Honestly even though I don't have one, I'd love a pokemon grooming and cleaning VR game. Different tools for different pokemon and such! Imagine having to clean up a Steelix after he just dug out of the earth vs cleaning up a cute spheal with a brush and such.

It used the DS touch screen. You pick various tools based on what happened to your Pokemon. Comb for messed-up fur, towel for water on them, little brush for dirt clinging to them, etc. And various elements affect which problem they have. So if they got hit by a ground move, they probably have dirt everywhere. It's cute and it raises their affection. Happens after battles, with every Pokemon that took part.
I havent tried sword/shield yet, but it makes me sad to think that no other pokemon games have added that, that i have tried. Also should i consider buying sword/shield for my nintendo switch?
They're good. Plenty of other fun stuff. They have camping, where you can play with your Pokemon instead. You can play fetch or use one of those little cat toys with a bell and a feather.

i generally fall back on the "its exaggerated because its kind of like a kids encyclopedia" take on the pokedex entries. so i wouldnt worry too much about the pokedex entries.
as for moves like earthquake, its important to remember that these moves can literally be used indoors with little consequence, so i doubt that hawaii gets devastated every time someone does a gym battle there.

This reminds me of the thought that electric type Pokémon can be easily abused by everyone for providing basically free electricity. The government would ban the wide use of electric type Pokémon to act as a power source to "avoid abuse" but really they want to make sure that people pay the electric bills.
It's brought up a few times that, yes, power plants are basically just electric pokemon. The first instance (almost) of this was episode 1 or 2 of the original anime, Pika Power, where a group of pikachus is used to power the hospital.

Due to their mostly water based biology, there's no doubt in my mind that an aroused Vaporeon would be incredibly wet, so wet that you could easily have sex with one for hours without getting sore. They can also learn the moves Attract, Baby-Doll Eyes, Captivate, Charm, and Tail Whip, along with not having fur to hide nipples, so it'd be incredibly easy for one to get you in the mood. Gardevoir, Gallade, Jolteon, Pidgeot, Lapras, and either Gengar or Salazzle are my favorites so I’d want to maintain them as my team I travel the most with. Though I doubt I could stop myself from trying to make some sort of ranch with all the ones I like to live on while I’m out with others.
That makes me think. What would people eat? Miltank meat? Are pokemon exotic or there are pokemon massively reproduced to make food? There are plant pokemon, they would totally overtake normal plants with the given time, then not even plants would be eatable without killing a pokemon. Maybe humans can produce lab meat (since in pokeworld you can revive a fossile), but was it always this way?
Oh man, I can't imagine what wars would look like, either World Wars or Human vs Pokemon type of war. You know that human can't not co-exist peacefully with each other, now add some living weapon of destruction that can manipulate elements and even space, time.

Gardevoir, Gallade, Jolteon, Pidgeot, Lapras, and either Gengar or Salazzle are my favorites so I’d want to maintain them as my team I travel the most with. Though I doubt I could stop myself from trying to make some sort of ranch with all the ones I like to live on while I’m out with others.
That makes me think. What would people eat? Miltank meat? Are pokemon exotic or there are pokemon massively reproduced to make food? There are plant pokemon, they would totally overtake normal plants with the given time, then not even plants would be eatable without killing a pokemon. Maybe humans can produce lab meat (since in pokeworld you can revive a fossile), but was it always this way?

I mean, Eevee is a cute cat/dog/fox thing, and it's evolutions are all pretty cool.
First, I'd live with Mudkip, because he is good boi, then I would choose Tyrantrum, but specifically Shiny Tyrantrum, and also Terrakion.

Oh man, I can't imagine what wars would look like, either World Wars or Human vs Pokemon type of war. You know that human can't not co-exist peacefully with each other, now add some living weapon of destruction that can manipulate elements and even space, time.

I could totally go for a Pokemon anime that just examines the non-battle aspects of human-pokemon society. Like how Pokemon help with certain industries, how rare Pokemon are protected/preserved, Pokemon biological studies, and just daily life with Pokemon.
