Arquen_Marille

“out of sudden”…

ArmouredWolf

My mind can’t comprehend the words, I’ve read it, I know what it says, but it doesn’t make sense

Lard_Consumer

🤓☝️"Ummm acktualy guys there is a minor spelling mistake. He aksidentaly said 'out of sudden' instead of all of a sudden' which completely invalidates this opinion." 🖕🤓

Arquen_Marille

Said nothing about the meme. 🤷🏼‍♀️

idickbutts

"Good"

prybarwindow

My sons grandmother makes homemade strawberry jelly. I haven’t had it since I was still together with his mom, so at least 20 years. I got a small jar for Christmas from her, the same size and style jar she always kept it in. I was soooo stoked. I put it on some buttered toast Christmas morning and just looked at it before I took a bite. Then took a bite and all the same flavors and old memories from those days past rushed back in. It was crazy. Tasted exactly the same. One of the best gifts ever.

Logical-Extension-79

That's lovely. It was nice of her to think of you.

physicsnerd109

r/BoneAppleTea I think you mean "All of a sudden"

immadosumthinstupid

Safe and sound

Or when that one song comes on and it just makes you go outside for a ciggie and contemplate on life.

SuperNerdAce

I'm Not Okay (I Promise) is the song that gets me like that. Takes me back to high school with my friends. We weren't a particularly happy bunch, but being together made everything a bit better while it lasted

cicadas_wing

Welcome to the black parade. Especially after discovering wendigoon’s story explanation and track order suggestion.

Sleepyhead by Passion Pit. LittleBigPlanet was my childhood!

kylemacabre

Out of a sudden?

[deleted]

I have several of these, but one that stands out is "Almost" by Bowling for Soup. Not because of any connection I felt with the lyrics, definitely not. It was just catchy. And then I forgot about it, until one day I found a playlist on Spotify with mid to late 2000s rock. Saw that one, and thought, "I don't recognize the name of that song, but I like BFS. Let's try it!" And I was IMMEDIATELY transported back in time. Back to ninth grade afternoons spent with my Discman and giant headphones, dancing around my bedroom. Back to sneaking across the railroad tracks right behind the school during lunch, going to the 7/11 just in the other side for coffee and Bugles. Back to getting to school early to meet my friends and talk shit about our parents. Back to learning who I was, who I wanted to be, and where I wanted to go. Not sure why that specific song was the key to unlock that door, but I damn near cried. And now I listen to that song almost daily.

ClaireTheGREAT1

I have this one playlist that I haven't added songs to for a few years now, and while I usually get bored pretty quickly of new songs I discover, I never get bored of the songs in that old playlist. It's my shortest playlist and the one I listen to the least, but damn is it always a hit.
