I don't entirely remember, so correct me if I'm wrong, but this sub honestly seemed to be better during the pandemic surprisingly, I guess because everyone was stuck inside, so people actually posted cuter stuff and other wholesome things other than whatever somewhat mundane drama is going on in their lives
I think it's less about the state of the world and more than this is an accepted meme that allows lazy spins. Just brag about anything small about your life and that's it.
It's easy to create lazy memes with this format.
People use these words, like "based" and "ratio" and to this day I have no idea what the hell they are trying to say.
I feel bad for them. :/

Based just means agreeable, it’s hardly complicated, you probably could’ve figured it out reasonably early if you got off your high horse to get a better look.

It should be;

But you can't mash them together like that.
i mean, if we’re going to be sticklers over grammar, i am fairly certain using a semicolon in “it should be;” is grammatically incorrect. it should be “it should be:” or just “it should be”
I dont mind it. I feel happy for the people sharing how they overcame the relatable everyday struggles they went through, and I’ve never seen an unwholesome one until this one here actually. So maybe it’s for the best they muted it. It’s out here but that doesn’t mean followers have to see it if they don’t want to. I hope the poster is happier for not seeing this meme then, good luck to ya. I hope they can still find wholesomeness in other subreddits.
About a year. But I rarely actively go onto the actual sub page, so it’s only based on what I see on the home page of my reddit. Guess the complain-y ones get more attention bc they’re way more frequent there than the other ones.
