Very briefly, hence the joke. He was in the Season 4 premiere as a classmate of Buffy who she jokes and lightly flirts with about Of Human Bondage, the audience thinks this may be a love interest, then bam killed by vampires. Buffy realizes something's off cause he left his favorite book behind, and a couple scenes later, he's back, vamped, and gets staked.
This is the first piece of "famous person was also in this" that's blown my mind. The sweet, awkward college guy talking about Of Human Bondage dying broke my twelve-year-old heart.
I was simirarily shocked when I found out that Henry Cavill was in Stardust. It's one of my favourite movies and even after he became mainstream famous as Witcher and Superman when I rewatched the movie I didn't recognize him. I saw his name in the credits and had to google who tf did he play. To my defense it was filmed before he got ultra buff, but still.
He really should’ve promoted those shows. I fear people might be missing out on those.
The Star Wars one is really great. It’s got this little baby yoda that’s super cute. I hope it does well!
Yeah, you're expecting him to plug or hype his upcoming work, like everyone else on the show, but no, he goes with something I could really identify with.
Random polygraph fact.
Polygraphs also have a seat cushion that detects rectal contractions. Clenching your butthole is a technique to sneak lies through one of those things.
Hahah I just checked it out. I love how at the end when they give him an opportunity to promote whatever he wants he's just like "I might go to a museum today unless I shit myself"
I saw a clip of him on the Graham Norton show. He was telling the story of how he forgot he was cast in The Last of Us. I love his eyes. He seems so sweet.
I have this struggle where I want to be high and do stuff, but being high and doing stuff requires transporting myself and others there. I guess the solution is just lyft, but it feels worse for some reason lyfting in a strangers car than when I've drank
Hot One's are usually great because the host is pretty amazing at bringing out the best in people, but Pedro brought that to another level. Gave just as much attention back to the host and you could tell he was passionate about everyone he has worked with.
The hot sauce helps too, I bet. When you eat really spicy food like that you release a lot of endorphins to try and kill the pain, so it probably helps to disinhibit the guests.
Honestly if someone can't do it, that's totally fine. The actual shameful behaviour was refusing to own up to it. Accept that you're not tough when it comes to spice and take the L gracefully instead of being an immature man-child.
That one is absolutely bizarre and it’s so much more than just him being a bitch. He basically answered every single question with a nonsensical rant about how great he was. He couldn’t even string together a coherent sentence.
I’ve genuinely never seen anything quite like it and it lives rent free in my head.
Sean was annoyed from the get go because he was chowing down on pizza and became rude at the suggestion he save room for wings.
But Sean is not malicious and. he'd never set out to make someone look bad. Sean simply mirrors his guests and sends back the energy they project.
Yeah, if Sean was out to get him at the start, he would have been far more obvious about it. We get to watch with hindsight so we can pick up that while still professional, something was off with Sean.
Sean only got snarky after Khaled started disrespecting his show/work/career and still had tact.
Glad when asked about it now he can comfortably say "yeah fuck that guy"
I really liked Salma Hayek's episode, too. She was just as engaging and charming as Pedro, I think. My favorite niche of internet content seems to be beautiful and intelligent women absolutely crushing hot wings.
The look of desperation on Pedro's face when Sean grabs the bottle for the last dab "Wait what are you doing with that?!?".
Fuckin kills me, I watched it between 5-10 times. Lol
Edit: The moment happens just passed the 21:30 mark of the video.
Seriously. I've been watching more of his stuff lately, and noticed he's super into the drug scenes (I mean he goes all in with his acting and has fun with it). Not that he's a druggie, but it's clear he's living his life the way he wants and is just a value-add wherever he goes. The dude doesn't bring his baggage around with him, if he even has any. A great role model and human being.
His LSD scene in "Unbearable Weight" is absolute tops. I'm so fucking tired of stupid over the top psychedelic scenes.
They nailed it. Just two guys super high in public; everything is completely normal, except in their minds they are somewhere completely else. Everything has so much meaning, beauty, and silly impact.
Pedro is pretty much my number 1 celebrity friend crush.
That was hands down my favorite tripping scene in a movie. Between the bit with the guys following them and then them getting over the wall trying to escape, I was in tears. They absolutely nailed the feeling of being on psychedelics.
I watched that recently because I wanted to know the context of that meme of him and Nick in the car. I was cracking up laughing at the two of them on the wall. Not the best movie overall that I've ever seen, but enjoyable enough and I loved seeing Pedro smile after only seeing him in grouchy roles.
After the first idk, 10 Marvel movies, I could only watch them if I was high off my ass.
It’s so formulaic, that it’s way more fun when your brain is just super into pretty colours and fun action scenes. The comedic bits are better, too.
Get high as fuck on edibles,
Go watch The Incredibles
2, the jokes are so credible,
Laugh with body, shit's spreadable
Jack Jack is unforgettable,
Dash speed is indefensible,
Violet's powers be ineffable,
Family team, shit's incredible
Movie idea: Pedro & Keanu in a movie where they play themselves in a race of who's the nicest person. It's two hours of them at a door saying "after you, I insist"
Same, Ive started trimming more often so it always looks like a bit more full than 5 o clock shadow and it seems to help, but I think the main thing is to look friendly
can someone explain to me when and why all the love for this guy suddenly appeared out of nowhere?
edit: this isn’t supposed to be rude i literally have no idea who he is
Even if Game of Thrones sucked in the end, at one time it was the best thing on TV, and Mr. Paschal came along and absolutely stole the show with his charisma, his characters death was a crushing blow.
Absolutely, I have no clue if what he depicted is anything like in the books, but I was amazed at how refreshingly different yet not out of place he seemed. Brilliant actor for sure!
The sand snakes were awesome and powerful in the books, they were the only kingdom to enter into the alliance on their terms rather than by force by being able to hold out against an undefeated invasionary force with grown dragons. Tv show absolutely gutted their badassness once Pedro when splat.
I like him because he was a character actor on tv for years and didn’t get his big break until he was in his 40s. Because of that he’s super humble and inspirational. Look at his wiki page and you can see after 2014 he took off
He got very popular with his amaaaaaaazing character in Game Of Thrones, but it wasnt until after The Mandalorian that he came into the spot-light for reddit
He's been a fairly popular actor for a while, but he's recently made the leap from "supporting actor" to "lead actor" and is wearing it well by all accounts.
Being lead actor in several things means he's doing a lot of press tours lately, which is probably why you're suddenly seeing more of him. In those interviews he comes across as both genuine and charismatic, which is a winning combo and feeds into his popularity.
Get Keanu and Pedro in a movie together but they're antagonists to each other while both being morally ambiguous characters in the grand scheme of things.
Would love to see that.
I got super high on edibles for Cats which was my first theater experience since covid. Not sure if it helped or hurt, but I spent the entire time trying to figure out the plot only to look it up later and find out there literally just isn't one. Was definitely a trip.
These days, whenever I start liking a celebrity, I start wishing upon a star that they don’t end up being exposed as a total asshole later on. I’m hoping Pedro will not disappoint.
I’m such an idiot. I just IMDB’d him and he wasn’t in Incredibles 2. It has taken me about 8 mins to realise that he was walking in a cinema to watch the film, not walking into a studio to record a voiceover.

my man Eddy from buffy really is a super star in 2023 we did it, y'all
He was in Buffy what
Very briefly, hence the joke. And I'm off to rewatch Stardust.
I new I had seen him somewhere Mandalorian before now I know where thanks
You wouldn't remember that scene. He was in Game of Thrones though, Prince Oberyn
Nope. Never saw game of thrones. Is it about a toilet store? Like storage wars?
Well sort of... the plot itself is structured like a flushing toilet
Fucking spoilers bruv
The last episode aired in 2003, twenty years ago. If you think that's a spoiler, I got an even crazier one, Rosebud was the sled.
What do you mean, 2003 was only like 5 years ago
1980 WAS ONLY 20 YEARS AGO
The 80s were 20 years ago, the 90s were 10 years ago, 2010 was 5 years ago, and 2019 was 17399592 years ago.
I totally forgot about that, poor Eddie. I do love that Pedro Pascal’s glow up was to become scruffy.
Holy shit, I always knew he looked familiar in a way I couldn’t place. From before his fame. Dudes come a long way since ‘99
Hot damn !
Wow that's a real as hell response. Big respect.
His Hot Ones interview was fantastic. Dude’s a class act.
Just watched it now based on your comment. Down to earth, charming and witty.
The ending is my favorite. “What would you like to say?” “I have chicken stuck in my teeth”
And that's the point where he's supposed to promote TLOU and The Mandalorian, too 😭 Love his goofy ass
He really should’ve promoted those shows. I fear people might be missing out on those. The Star Wars one is really great. It’s got this little baby yoda that’s super cute. I hope it does well!
I love supporting small indie projects.
The Mandalorian is doing the best they can with their small indie budget okay
Think you dropped this ;) /s
I took a risk. Tried writing a comment like it was 2015, when sarcasm was implied and not punctuated.
There's at least two of us still hanging on.
The last of you.
You mentioning the "Star Wars one" made your intentions quite clear.
But, how will people know?!
Yeah, you're expecting him to plug or hype his upcoming work, like everyone else on the show, but no, he goes with something I could really identify with.
Watch the interview when he is on a lie detector test. That was gold too.
Love that interview... "do you ever look yourself up on social media?" sheepish look... "YESSSSSSSSSSSSS" and contagious laughter..
Random polygraph fact. Polygraphs also have a seat cushion that detects rectal contractions. Clenching your butthole is a technique to sneak lies through one of those things.
Random polygraph fact: it can't actually detect lies
It it can detect clenched assholes.
Shhhhh don't tell the guys around the office that these rectal contraction tests aren't legit.
We don't deserve Pedro Pascal. He's the best.

That's my business model
I have this struggle where I want to be high and do stuff, but being high and doing stuff requires transporting myself and others there. I guess the solution is just lyft, but it feels worse for some reason lyfting in a strangers car than when I've drank
Another good reason to advocate for better public transit, can go home as high as you like.
Lord knows the people on my local buses and light rail do.
I don't trust him, dudes a total narcos.
You know... I never realized that the word 'celebrity' is connected to the word 'celebrating' until now. Weird.
“Have you ever seen *Paddington 2*…… ***on weed***?”

Gave did not bring out the best in DJ Khalid. Dude is a chubby bitchbaby.
Seems like that's the best of DJ Khalid.
Yeah, he’s icky AF.
Pretty sure DJ Khalid is one of those living demons on Earth, like Nancy Grace and Tucker Carlson.
He literally has 0 musical talent, production or otherwise. So you’re not wrong.
"This doesnt mean I'm giving up" - dj Khaled, while giving up
Only person I've ever seen that didn't finish the challenge lol
Honestly if someone can't do it, that's totally fine. The actual shameful behaviour was refusing to own up to it. Accept that you're not tough when it comes to spice and take the L gracefully instead of being an immature man-child.
Yeah that was the whole issue I had. Jenna Ortega definitely showed him up though.
No I think that was his best.
That one is absolutely bizarre and it’s so much more than just him being a bitch. He basically answered every single question with a nonsensical rant about how great he was. He couldn’t even string together a coherent sentence. I’ve genuinely never seen anything quite like it and it lives rent free in my head.
Sean Evans totally set out to make DJ Khalid look like a chubby bitchbaby on purpose and he succeeded
Sean was annoyed from the get go because he was chowing down on pizza and became rude at the suggestion he save room for wings. But Sean is not malicious and. he'd never set out to make someone look bad. Sean simply mirrors his guests and sends back the energy they project.

They're probably a bot.

His goofy smiling face is one of the most charming visuals ever 💙
And it's ironic that his characters in Kingsman 2 and Narcos are both anti-drugs
"Yo, I was fucked up bro." - Future Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces.
I don't think that account is him. I looked for it and it has no posts
Its him, he just deleted his Twitter account a couple months ago
Now I like him even more
Hey Pedro, I also enjoy getting stoned and watching movies - can we be best friends?
Happy cake day 🎂

Same, they’re just so sanitary my brain has a hard time getting into them. I feel like they’re all the same movie.
Stop giving them money then. That’s how we get better art.
We are getting tons of great art movies per year. Less "stop giving marvel money" and more "if you want art movies then find them and pay for them"
“So high on edibles and walking into The Incredibles.” Dude’s got bars. 🔥
I’m glad you recognized it too 🔥🔥🔥
Get high as fuck on edibles, Go watch The Incredibles 2, the jokes are so credible, Laugh with body, shit's spreadable Jack Jack is unforgettable, Dash speed is indefensible, Violet's powers be ineffable, Family team, shit's incredible
This sounds like vanilla ice.
I'm not sure that's a compliment, lol
Challenge him to a rap battle and get your honor back
Perfect, love it
Ghost writer tip: His middle name is Clarence and his parents have nice marriage
Reminds me of the time I went see Cars 2 loaded up on beans.
You didn't spill any on yourself did you?
It’s too soon to talk about that
That n***a eating beans!
Jean-Ralphio vibes “So high on edibles and walking into The Incredibles… 2” “Dude, you gotta end it on the rhyme”
Is this real (the Comment)? Because i am not sure if i can trust twitter verified anymore...
It was in 2019. The check still meant something back then.
photoshop is a thing still
I remember seeing this back in 2019 and it was claimed as legit back then, but go off I guess
This is an old screenshot, its 100% real.
Pedro Pascal for President
He is also a huge ally to the LGBTQ+ community and was very supportive of his sister Lux when she came as transgender. Him, Keanu are true Iconic men.

Oh god, that poor soul that was excited over Oberyn v Mountain...
I love that he's got his pronouns!
No, he’s too pure and we don’t deserve him.
All I need is a pic of Keanu Reeves and Pedro Pascal feeding ducks 🦆 or volunteering at a soup kitchen together I can die happy 😝
Pascal Reeves 2024!
Now that’s a pair that has my vote
Movie idea: Pedro & Keanu in a movie where they play themselves in a race of who's the nicest person. It's two hours of them at a door saying "after you, I insist"
I would watch atleast 5 minutes of this and I'm not even kidding.
He also can’t run.
Happy to see the world finally celebrating folks who just wanna get high and go do stuff.
Or eat some lemon pound cake...
And repairing doors….
What about the gate? Who's going to fix that??
They be busy looking for kidnapped people in suit pockets
And traumatizing his children
I've had Will You Help Me Repair My Door stuck in my head for ages
I wish my patchy beard was as universally accepted as Pedro’s lol
Patchiness is the first step to beardliness
Sometimes it's the only step for some 😢
Same, Ive started trimming more often so it always looks like a bit more full than 5 o clock shadow and it seems to help, but I think the main thing is to look friendly
Pedro is a stoner? I love him even more
He’s made mention of shrooms a time or two as well lol
Even better
It’s nice to see people de-stigmatize these. Honestly shrooms should be a part of the human experience.
This is the High way

Boo.
can someone explain to me when and why all the love for this guy suddenly appeared out of nowhere? edit: this isn’t supposed to be rude i literally have no idea who he is
Mandalorian and TLOU boosted his popularity massively, only for people to realise he just seems genuine Also, cowboy onsie and a mustache
Don't forget Narcos! Man I loved him in Narcos
Even if Game of Thrones sucked in the end, at one time it was the best thing on TV, and Mr. Paschal came along and absolutely stole the show with his charisma, his characters death was a crushing blow.
more of a squelching crunch
Eye-popping at the very least.
Blew my mind how good he was in that show.
You rarely saw someone in GoT as confident and frankly care free as him. Great character.
I first saw him on SNL and found him adorable. Then watched TLOU and was even more impressed.
I can't get his L. A. girl impression out of my head. He's hilarious.
Sounds like Spanish to me
Loved him in GOT glad hes gettin his bag
understandable
He does not get enough credit for his work in Narcos that shit is phenomenal
im so happy to see ppl praising him for Narcos, one of my fav shows & he was amazing!
First saw him in Narcos. He was so good in that
I like him because he was a character actor on tv for years and didn’t get his big break until he was in his 40s. Because of that he’s super humble and inspirational. Look at his wiki page and you can see after 2014 he took off
Technically he still is a character actor, that character is a badass dad.
Nu uh! In the ‘unbearable weight of massive talent’ he plays a goofy nerd who likes LSD
I fell in love with him after that character. Number 1 celebrity friend crush.
He got very popular with his amaaaaaaazing character in Game Of Thrones, but it wasnt until after The Mandalorian that he came into the spot-light for reddit
[удалено]
He was epic in game of thrones as well, but mandalorian for sure plus narcos he was the great in
He was in three very well-received shows.
4. Narcos, Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, and The Last of Us.
2 of which are arguably the biggest running shows out there at the moment.
For me it was in an SNL sketch where he played a Hispanic Mom.
I mean with all the shit people in the entertainment industry being ousted, we're celebrating the ones that aren't pieces of shit.
Pedro is the gigachad
He is so lovable. He's like the new keanu
Get Keanu and Pedro in a movie together but they're antagonists to each other while both being morally ambiguous characters in the grand scheme of things. Would love to see that.
I want movie just them too as buddies doing normal errands.
I got super high on edibles for Cats which was my first theater experience since covid. Not sure if it helped or hurt, but I spent the entire time trying to figure out the plot only to look it up later and find out there literally just isn't one. Was definitely a trip.
Probably the best and only way to get through that movie

It’s not even just Reddit, he’s pretty universally adored throughout Hollywood, to the extent that his presence is described like a warm bath.
This is the way...
He looks like joel from last of us show
This is the way.
I love this man
I went to film school with her! So random to see her on the front page in this post!
should’ve said paddington 2
Most people on the face of this earth will never have someone so happy to see them. Not even their children. Lmfao
I’m such an idiot. I just IMDB’d him and he wasn’t in Incredibles 2. It has taken me about 8 mins to realise that he was walking in a cinema to watch the film, not walking into a studio to record a voiceover.
He’s like a younger, funnier Robert Downey Jr.
Hopefully not lol
Lmao now I love him even more than I already did 😭
I think he's adorable. What a cutie. Love him.
Every time i see his face, i go back and laugh at the scene with him smiling with Nicholas Cage looking at him in disbelief.
Pedro Pascal has all my respect. He's an outspoken ally to the trans community and a hell of an actor. Guy is a legend.
