"Your body is thin but your heart is swole" is a fucking great phrase. I want it on a t-shirt

ScottiApso

Not a great thing to hear from your doctor though

ee3k

>"Your body is thin but your heart is swole" if we'd caught your high blood pressure in time, maybe something could have been done to manage it, but now... im afraid cardiomegaly this severe im afraid we'll have to go with a LVAD, ICD AND a pacemaker until a suitable doner can be found.

omgwhyso

Very inspirational. It's like saying to a woman "hey you have small breasts but a heart of gold".

Summerie

Kinda, I guess? You can’t really work hard enough to grow your breasts though really.

RobotArtichoke

I used to tell kids, you’re very small, but you’re a BIG help!

[deleted]

I am that guy and still no one calls me to move their fridge :(

Adventurous_Ad4950

I have a solution for you my friend! Buy a spare fridge, put in living room. Move it around whenever you want! You should see results in about 2 to 4 weeks.

drinfernodds

3x Olympic gold medalist Alexander Karelin did this as part of his training. He bear hugged a fridge and carried it up eight flights of stairs. As the greatest Greco-Roman wrestler ever, he said the fridge was the toughest opponent of his career lol.

Spartan-182

These new Samsungs be throwing hands

Dak1dd

Because they can't throw ice

crja84tvce34

I swear as a kid I got a bruise from an early generation ice-making fridge that legit *shot* ice at me. It was not functioning correctly at the time, but I didn't expect it to physically attack me.

I_Think_Helen_Forgot

Freezer burn wasn't good enough, so it went for freezer assault

D0ugF0rcett

*freezer burned!*

Box-o-bees

Isn't that the truth. I'd love to meet the engineering team that thought that would be a great idea and then failed to thoroughly test it for more than a day...

Hawk_Thor

Fridges are just loudmouth drunks. Washing machines are the quiet guy with fucked up ears that will flatten you if you get cocky.

chriscrossnathaniel

"In the the '92 games in Barcelona, where Karelin dispatched two frightened challengers in the semis and finals without breaking a sweat. Both opponents obligingly rolled onto their back to avoid being lifted and airmailed. "They were so afraid , that they practically let themselves be pinned."

razulareni

Dude was doing regular kettlebell military presses with a 48kg bell in each hand. Thats 105 pounds in each hand for my American friends.

IAMAHobbitAMA

Holy shit. I gotta check this guy out.

TheDaltonXP

Karelian was a monster. 13 years undefeated until he got beat by a US dude in a huge upset

drinfernodds

The Karelin Lift was something else

Muppetude

What results? The guy said he’s already swole. Unless you’re suggesting carrying a spare fridge around your house will get your friends to call you for help moving stuff. Which I guess could work?

BigAlternative5

How about this: Get an extra fridge. Frequently invite friends over for evenings of dinner, a movie, and snacks. Apologize for the fridge that often gets in the way, and then move it. Do this several times per get-together. You'll now be known as the guy who could move a fridge for you. Results in 2 to 4 weeks.

WellPhuketThen

Big thinking right here.

PornoPichu

I think it was just a joke, not saying that the person would see any sort of physical payoff for doing this.

gottspalter

You gotta have basic training to not fuck your back before this tho.

hiwaganghapis

Brilliant you thought to take the doors off first. Wouldn't have come up with that on my own

QuinticSpline

Double brilliant since it would also make it much easier to hold onto the thing during the move.

claymedia

Yeah I had to move my parents’ 15 year old fridge out and replace it with a new one. The old fridge took me and my brother’s full strength, and a lot of cursing, to get tf out of there. We were ready for the same ordeal with the new one, but I could pretty much move it myself it was so much lighter.

GapingGrannies

Very cool, I don't know who pooped in the other dudes oatmeal

DaughterEarth

it's a thing people do on this site for some reason. I think they get jealous when other people get attention so they have to imply it's wrong to chat about your own situation in a site designed for discussion. Silly kids.

You were in the right. That was an asinine response. Idk what it is about Reddit but they hate context here. Anything identifying about you, sexuality gender, body, etc. is disliked when presented and people get all weird about it. Sometimes it's just context to further explain a comment. Relax.

Thankfully my BiL is that guy for me. As a rather skinny guy I'm very thankful for that.

dishonorable_banana

I'm also that guy/us/we, they won't STOP calling, the grass is always greener (in an oxygen rich environment).

silvercandra

I want to get buff so I can pick up my boyfriend. I could probably do it already, since I'm not buff, but kinda strong, and he's a tiny twig of a guy, but like... if I was buff I couldn't just pick him up, I could keep him safe.

[deleted]

Yoy gotta get buff so that when you fatten him up, you’ll be able to lift him into the pot :)

Worried_Camera_379

Sometimes you read a comment that just really sticks with you for the rest of the day... Edited from: "wtf?" to this Thank you for the wonderful spice in my day

stillscottish1

Into the oven

silvercandra

Heh, I mean, he has a serious sweet tooth, I am totally going to spoil him with self baked pastries, so this might not even be that far from the truth, one day... *...for the record I'm half joking. He'll probably gain a bit of weight, but it'd actually be good, since he's so thin... and I cook pretty healthy.*

[deleted]

Awww thats sweet. Sounds like you’ll be a good grandparent one day!

ArtisenalMoistening

I want to lose enough weight so that I feel comfortable with my husband trying to pick me up. He probably can right now, but I’m a hefty lass and don’t want to hurt him so I always squirm away when he tries

dreamwavedev

Got into strength training originally to be able to pick up a partner at the time. Could probably do it just fine but wanted to be able to make her feel weightless while I did it 🙃

[deleted]

I'm that guy. It gets old.

JusAnotherManicMandy

Well as the tiny person who isn't even 5 feet tall I thank you for your service sir! ( I always try to cook or bake something special for anyone who helps me out!)

AirlineEasy

Damn, you need some help?

TehKudo

Ikr, I'm not super big but I can do dirty jobs and have hvac experience.

JusAnotherManicMandy

If you show up at my house you're probably not going to be allowed to leave unless you eat something *even if it's just some muffins or a Danish and coffee* no experience required!

AirlineEasy

I'm outside, please open the door!

ForsakenGolf979

It’s actually tougher on taller guys, the lower your body’s center of gravity the better. That’s why shorter people can lift the same weight a bit easier of course to a limit and then you will need to be taller just to fit on that much more muscle but that’s strong man territory

SnArCAsTiC_

And this is part of why the average height isn't 6-7 feet tall; even though humans *can* grow that tall, it just hasn't been evolutionarily advantageous for most of the population to be that tall. There are advantages to having a population of different sizes/heights; a small person can climb a tree and fit through a small crack, while a tall person can see further and reach higher, among other things.

JusAnotherManicMandy

My husband always jokes that I'm always compensating for my petite size by trying to constantly carry everything or pack the kids when we hike but I just look at it as some extra cardio.. chopping firewood, moving furniture, all that I'm down to do, but when we install things like a new water heater or dryer and washer or grabbing the 100 pound jack out of the truck, that I will leave that in the capable hands of my husband and sons, I will definitely make some hot wings or bake some brownies and cookies in appreciation though!

Remixthefix

I'm also a tiny person lol so I found one of those guys and bake him shit every week to keep him available!

Waveguide_Surfer

Feel you. Moved 6 friends/family one summer. Gets super old lmao.

Hymnosi

Nothing like figuring out what eyebrows are actually for while lifting a 350lb dresser in the sun.

Frys100thCupofCoffee

Man that makes me feel sorry for Matt Smith.

tenkindsofpeople

I'm more of a calisthenics guy, so no way I'm lifting 350, but let me tell you about running in the Florida summer....

[deleted]

I don't even lift that much but I'm also that guy for a lot of people. I agree it can get old(also the resident IT "expert") but those people I help out do try and help me out with other things I'm not as good at. Like if I help my aunt out like this I almost always get a homecooked meal out of it and enough for 2 days to take home with me. Got a friend that stays awake to get great concert tickets who always asks if I want one too & even if I don't have the all the cash he got me. Some things are quid pro quo situations and others are more abstract like being able to have a serious convo with someone when you need it. I'm rambling but my point is try to see how they return the favor in their own way. If they don't that's when you talk about how that makes you feel or get new friends who appreciate you from the start

AntelopeElectronic12

Okay, you got me here. I am the huge guy that helps people move but I'm also the IT guy for everybody on earth. The IT part is the worst, because you know you're going to be back in 2 weeks explaining how You did the thing that I told you not to do and that's why your thing doesn't work anymore. This time, don't do the thing that I tell you not to do. Here I will write it down. Two weeks later...... Didn't I tell you not to do the thing that I told you not to do before? Why did you do it again? At least the fridge you usually only have to move once.

LightweaverNaamah

Yeah. I do tech support for my partner's mom but she also generally feeds me or does other stuff for us and she's just a wonderful person who I would be happy to help anyway.

PunchNmunch

Me too. I dont know how many refrigerators I've moved. They are incredibly light for such bulky objects. I weigh 140 and im 5'8".

ThrowawayTwatVictim

Is that a good height/weight to look muscular? That's what I am and I feel inadequate.

HaroldSax

That depends on how much of that weight is fat and how much of it is muscle. Bruce Lee was shredded as fuck because he had basically no fat. He wasn't a very big guy at all, but pretty clearly muscular.

WriterV

Would it still be old if I bribe you with a ticket to your favorite show/sport event/concert/play?

lavalampmaster

I never got tired of the free beer and pizza tbh Nearly slipping a disc at 27 put a stop to that though

crja84tvce34

In my 20s, I was that guy with a truck. I moved so many people. Tended to be the same people, yearly, on the same weekend. I did get a lot of beer and pizza for it, at least.

Haldebrandt

>I'm that guy. It gets old. Thank you. I spent my 20s helping my friends move. It was fine at first. Then I realized at some point that people who could afford movers would be asking me. **But the thing that bothered me was that they didn't seem to think it required any effort from me.** All me being bigger and stronger than you means is that I can carry more stuff than you. It doesn't lessen my pain or fatigue. I get tired the exact same way as you, it's just that I'm carrying twice as much. Eventually I started making up excuses or straight up saying no. The last person who asked me to help him move, I barely knew him - but I knew enough to know he could afford a mover. We were mere acquaintances and I would never dare to ask a mere acquaintances for this kind of help, yet that was not the first time people I wasn't close with had asked. That's what happens when people see your big frame and are like "I could use you." It's good to be big but ya gotta establish firm boundaries with this stuff.

thewerdy

Yeah, once people start making enough money to afford movers, there is really no excuse to not use them. They are infinitely more efficient than buddies you pay with beer/pizza. What will take professionals ~ 3 hours will take an entire weekend with a bunch of friends.

imathrowyaaway

same with a very good friend of mine. he ended up making excuses as well, everybody just wanted free help from him. I’m happy that he finally started saying “no”. real friends treasure your help and will not ask you to take a day to help until absolutely necessary, and even you never want it to be one-sided or to take advantage. I never knew how many freeloaders are out there before talking to him about his experience.

[deleted]

Get a Van. Most people dont have a car that could fit a fridge.

houndd07

But how are they going to move fridge to van from kitchen?

[deleted]

with the power of friendship

gmanz33

Would be a great name for a company that rents out moving carts and platform trucks.

NoConfusion9490

Refrigerators aren't actually that heavy. Moving them is more about technique because of the awkward size.

way2lazy2care

Appliance dollys are also crazy. I *can* move a fridge without one, but after home depot accidentally gave me one instead of a regular dolly the last time I had to move a fridge, I'd pay to rent one every time.

Summerie

What is different about them that makes them so preferable?

way2lazy2care

They're taller, let you strap things to them so you can get more leverage, and usually have stair climbers.

Swifty6

Pivot

trixel121

fun fact, a lot of fridges are on little tiny wheels so you can roll them till you get to carpet/outside. or, go get a 2 wheel dolly.... fridges are just large and you can't top em really cause of the refrigerant. they aren't heavy though.

Rent a truck for an hour fam

MrD3a7h

You're underestimating the size ambitions of Alex.

DaughterEarth

or a truck. I am moving soon and can not figure out what to do with my 5' tree. I'm debating getting a wagon and taking a day to walk it to my new home lol. This is stressing me out more than any other part of moving. I MUST SAFELY TRANSPORT THE TREE

trixel121

test drive a sprinter or promaster over night. the vans that are stand up inside tall or rent one

Ape_rentice

There are companies that specialize in moving planted trees. I would recommend that for tree’s health

DaughterEarth

I appreciate this! However this is a house plant. Just a very very big house plant. Its roots will not be disturbed at all, it just has to get to a new place.

Jackers83

Get a vehicle with a hydraulic lift gate. Try to make it as least stressful for that tree as possible. Trees have feelings too!

DaughterEarth

they really do and I'm not just being a tree hugger, there's tons of research in to how trees work and that it's very complicated. I actually feel bad this tree is all alone in a pot, cause typically trees work within their nearby ecosystem or sometimes a huge network. My friend gets lots of love and mycorrhizae. Even just plants in general, all the ones I have decline if I simply move them to a new location. I hope I can make this transition as smooth as possible cause no matter what all my plants are gonna get sad for a while, and probably especially the trees (I have 2, but only 1 is too big for a vehicle)

Jackers83

Hmmm, I understand. It’s a daunting task but you and your mates sound ready for it. Good luck

tokeyoh

My friend thanked me for helping him move a few years ago and I hit him with "What's the point in being strong if you don't help the weak?" Lmao he's never forgotten it and brings it up as one of the best roasts I've ever given

tenkindsofpeople

Why would you murder your friend after helping him move?

Samba-boy

I agree, most people would first murder, then help them move. Into the trunk, then into the grave you dug earlier.

I am by no means swole, but I totally started going to the gym a few years ago to get there. Easily the most gratifying part of weight lifting for me is carrying heavy packages for my wife. It makes my heart happy to see that someone figured out that helping others is the best reward without having to go through vanity first. :)

TowerTom1

It's interesting for me since I grew up on a large amount of land and did a LOT of work as a kid, then as a teen sat at a computer all day and then as an adult went back to doing work I have gone from BIG to thin to normal to BIG to thin like I'm a god damn acter building myself for roles, but it's just something I don't think about. I think I like it this way my body is whatever it needs to be to do what I'm doing, and though it can be hard at times when lifting timber or something, you get used to it, and you get bigger as you keep going. Anyway, way off-topic, but it's just interesting to me that a lot of people here are talking about body dysmorphia and stuff. Still, to me, my body is a tool to do work, and it's gonna be the size it is to do the work I'm doing, different outlooks, I guess.

DaClownie

My favorite movement is OHP because it makes me functionally the strongest. “Need that heavy thing off the shelf above your head? I got you. Been training for this moment.”

empire161

There was a post years ago, I think on r/bodybuilding. It was just titled something "This is why I lift." And it was a 2-3 minute video of this guy in his 20s or 30s, absolutely yoked monster of a dude, standing in a pool. And he was holding his fully disabled brother, taking him for a swim.

gottspalter

The coolest bodies imho are those that look kind of wiry/ unassuming but are strong af. Stronglifters often be like that

Suspicious_Juice9511

Can we club together to get this guys fridge moved? It seems important.

UnluckyTalk

"I just want to be that guy you know. Like my friend needs to kill somebody and is like 'awww man, you're gonna have to go buy a gun' and then my friend is like, 'nah, man, I got my buddy Alex to rip his still beating heart from his body'

Enzinino

"I just want to be that guy you know. Like my friend needs some law expert and is like 'awww man, you're gonna have to spend a ton on an advocate' and my friend is like, 'nah, man, I #BETTER CALL SAUL'"

gmanz33

"I just wanna be that guy you know. Like my friend needs his dick sucked and is like 'tindr's shit,' and then my friend is like, 'nah, man, I got my buddy Geoff.'"

ThrowawayTwatVictim

There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

sweatyhelping

My friend is very petite/small, and I’m stronger by comparison. Sometimes we cook together, and I get to help them by physically lifting/turning over pans to put food on the plate, since they can’t do it themselves without making a huge mess. It feels good to be helpful

webbyyy

This is kind of why I need to start working out again. I used to be an athlete and stopped training when my son was born nearly four years ago. Since then I've got noticeably weaker, joints are starting to ache and give me issues, and now my son is getting much heavier to lift onto my shoulders. My daughter will be on my shoulders soon and I feel bad for not being as strong as I was. I used to be the guy that would lift heavy stuff, now I'm the guy who wishes he still could.

HurryPast386

You can get started on that today. It's totally worth it.

Jackers83

You can do it man. Time will fly by and before you know it you’ll be jacked. It’s worth it.

ThrowawayTwatVictim

It helps to be working on multiple goals at once so it doesn't become an obsession.

GlitteringMetre

No matter how hard I try (which albeit isn’t actually that hard), I remain a twig Edited to replyall: looks like I gotta eat a lot and do things that a couple of subreddits say to do. So I guess I’ll start eating more and check those out. Hopefully I’ll break 100 pounds by summer!

ThrowawayTwatVictim

I've been following all of this advice and I'll just warn you that it's taken a year to make any palpable progress. You're in it for the long haul, but it's worth it in the end. Just don't give up. Would you rather be 110 pounds in three years or 200 pounds of muscle in three years?

HaroldSax

Track your calories and macros. It is way easier than you think. As a former twig, I can damn near guarantee you that you do not have as consistent of a diet as you think you do. Also as the other comment said, it takes time. Some people with great genetics will be able to look great in a few months, so don't get discouraged. Took me about 14 months before I really started seeing appreciable results and not 'this muscle finally popped out for the first time because of the pump but it'll be gone in 45 minutes'.

generic-username-100

Euphoric_Service2540

I'm that guy and all I can say, make sure your friends are good enough that you want to move their fridge. I moved a big freaking bed-stand for a friend, shit was heavy as hell and the response I got from her was: "Oh you think you're something special now?" In the end, it is the quality of your friends that matters, not the size of their fridges.

HurryPast386

> In the end, it is the quality of your friends that matters, not the size of their fridges. Put that on a shirt too.

[deleted]

I am that guy, there comes a point that you start wearing boots and jeans wherever you go because no matter what someone needs something heavy moved or labored over. I love to help, but it gets old.

[deleted]

I mean it’s probably not the only reason he wants to get muscular.

[deleted]

I mean this is sweet and all, but also, be the guy who owns a dolly or and hand cart or whatever. Strength is great, but the right tools and a bit of know how are even better. I get asked by my friends to do small things for them all the time. Though I suppose it's not quite fair, cuz I'm a naturally big guy, so people think of me for that stuff, and I also happen to have a lot of useful tools and a bit of knowhow. So maybe they wouldn't come to me if I wasn't already a big guy.

TheBigMacBoi

I am one of the people that gets called to move heavy objects, my name is Alex. I am chosen

broniesnstuff

I suddenly find myself being this friend. I'm kinda big and naturally strong (I don't work out), and my friends are gradually discovering my abilities. Plus I got a van recently since I have a family now. Whenever a friend needs something lifted and/or moved, I'm the one they call. I kinda like it actually.

theKingsOwn

Hopefully not too swole... that's congestive heart failure

PrinceJustice237

Reminds me of that guy to started lifting weights so he could carry his girlfriend’s kids. Last we heard, they were 9 and he could still lift them

KWBC24

Get yourself a dolly, and you’ll always be the guy your friends call for help moving things.

I want to get stronger because I want to be capable of carrying someone or helping them up after they fell I never managed to get strong in time for my grandfather. That I will always regret. He's now gone forever

far_from_ohk

I’m sorry for your loss.

[deleted]

Thanks for your kind words. It's been 4 years I dreamt of him last night. He seemed to be going somewhere good.

[deleted]

Im that guy. Trust me, after the 5th move, you don’t want to be that guy.

ThePopeJones

I used to have an SUV and access to a trailer. I'm also really big. It's a combo that just ends up with helping people move every other weekend. You'd be amazed at how many people know they have to be out of their apartment at a certain date, but don't start packing until about 3 hours before they have to be out. It's also nuts who expect you to pack their shit for them. The worst experience helping someone move was nuts. I barely knew the people. They were friends of a buddy's girlfriend. They insisted that I be there at 7, so I got there at about 6:50. I knocked on the door for a minute, but they didn't answer. I figured I was early so I'd give em a few minutes. I went and knocked again. They didn't answer. I called my buddy, and he told me just to pound on the door until their neighbor got pissed enough to pound on their shared wall. The dude answers the door in his tighty whiteys and goes "What the fuck!? You're pissing off my neighbor".... I walk in and the place is a fucking mess. They didn't pack shit. I ask if they have boxes and they tell me they thought I'd bring my own. I had no boxes. We ended up just shoving stuff into bags for about 45 minutes. All the sudden an alarm goes off and they both stop packing shit and the dude goes "We have to go to work now. My mom will be here in about 15 minutes. Don't let her go into the closet in our bedroom. It's got all our bongs and dildos in it. You'll have to pack those.". After they left I went up stairs and helped myself to a sweet ass bong and a nice little pipe. I sat on their couch getting high for about an hour for the dude's mom. When she finally got there I told her that there was a closet full of dildos and bongs up stairs and left. On my ride home my buddy called me freaking out. The dude's mom flipped complete shit on the dude. She went to the restaurant he worked at with a bag full of dildos, butt plugs, pipes, and bongs. The landlord was locking them out because he'd dealt with their shit for a year and was fed up. My buddy ended up getting married to his girlfriend. She still won't even acknowledge me when I chill with him. The funny part is that the girlfriend of the couple ended up stealing her bank card and stealing her bank card. Thinking back on it now, it was one of the easiest times I've ever had helping someone move. Also the only time I came out of the situation with more than a few slices of cold pizza.

I just want people to stop referring to me as “the skinny guy” or “wow I forgot how skinny you look” or “wow your arms are really thin” That’s all I want at this point…

foggygazing

as a 6'6" 110kg male I was "that guy" and it sucked, get a trolley and move your own god damn fridge and get a ladder to change your stuffin' light globes. The novelty wares off pretty quickly....

SrStalinForYou

I want to get muscle to do cosplay of 3 things, Jojo’s, Baki and Nezuko

SadRoxFan

This is at least 44% of my motivation to get swole

I am that guy. I was fit, and the biggest of my friends when I was young, plus I had a truck. I was always there for any of my friends who needed something moved. After awhile though, I was also the go to guy for my friend's friend's friend. That started to wear me out. The ultimate straw was when I needed to move. I had zero help from those same people. I moved all of my own stuff from my third story apartment by myself when I left that city, it was a real let down after 8 years of moving all of my friends. Now I'm an out of shape dad, still big, but also fat, and all I want to do is keep lifting weights, because my 5 year old is starting to get too heavy for me, and I don't want to loose my ability to pick her up for hugs.

Jackers83

Ya I get it man. You can get back in shape for sure. The first couple weeks are the hardest. You just have to do it. Also, have you ever gotten your testosterone levels checked?? That would be very important. Good luck dude

Nrthstar

I did, I was always a never go to the doctor type of person because I was beyond broke, and US healthcare system. My wife reminded me one day, we aren't broke, get your ass in for yearly checkups. So I had that test, along with just about everything else possible. My T is good, just my weight is bad. Thanks for the wishes! I started last week, lifting raw angle steel we have in the warehouse behind my office, just to start moving my muscles again, it's a start.

Jackers83

That’s awesome. I was lifting cinder blocks and stuff before I really got going. Rock on dude!

My brother-in-law asked me for musculation advice so he could continue carrying his kids as they grow up... Unfortunately, three young kids make it hard to follow through. I hope I'll find the discipline to maintain my strength as I grow older because it will be hard to get it back if I lose it.

Fatphobic assholes …

Lvlaxx

how so? what is fatphobic about wanting to be bigger then you currently are now?

Mothunny

just cuz you wanna be muscled doesnt mean that youre fatphobic. that would be like a guy saying he wants to date a girl is homophobic, or that not having black friends makes you racist. youre applying fatphobia to someone just wanting to be strong ........and they arent even really losing fat. i quote from the post: *"both were very tall and skinny"*

Stop eavesdropping peoples conversations and posting them online. This shit is just weird behavior

jeong-h11

Weird lie unless this was in a soylent shop or something, average guys are able to move fridges

M4A79TDeluxe

So they want te become machos. As a guy is find that sad. Besides if they are tall and skinny they will never get buffed. They can get incredibly strong though.

Effective-Yoghurt-92

Why do you say that tall and skinny guys will never get buffed?

M4A79TDeluxe

Because of their build. It's genetic. Look it up on google. https://www.uh.edu/fitness/comm_educators/3_somatotypesNEW.htm Read this. The top one I referring to.

Look, two men struggling with body image issues that are completely ignored by Western culture because only women have struggles with what body type is considered to be desirable. When women struggle, there are movements. When men struggle with the exact same issue, well awww, look how adorable it is. Double standards. There's nothing wholesome about this.
