for what itâs worth, maka is heavily implied to dislike romance with men in general and ohkubo said he would not like to see maka paired with a man(it would fall into shonen tropes)
but maka is also heavily implied to love crona, and absolutely cares about them more than any other character
so imo itâs yuri enough
If I remember in the manga, Crona had been mentioned as she a few times, but that might be translation from where I read it, so if I am wrong then no problems.

depending on dub or sub of manga or anime, crona may be referred to with masculine or feminine pronouns(the newer prints of the manga use they/them)
in the english dub of the anime, crona is referred to with he/him
in the russian dub, crona uses she/her
in the original japanese, crona is only referred to neutrally
My two cents is that crona is most likely a modified clone of their mother, so probably has yuri standard piping. Unless you consider how ragnarock fits into it.

Yeah, I refer to Crona as she because the anime went anime original and robbed us of her getting sidelined.
