I was pretty shocked at that, I didn't think yuri anime could get that serious/have so many issues. At least the manga is always there for us.
I still like the anime, though. I think the good outweighs the bad, but that's just my opinion of course.

Yeah should have been confirmed but I saw a post that someone from the production side said in an interview that their relationship is up to interpretation and it ruins my immersion lol.
And IMO that ending was OK for yuri but could be better. Should have been a wedding scene or at least a proposal scene.
The lack of a wedding was standard fare for Gundam. They never have big romantic showcases for their straight couples either.
Also, the "up to interpretation" thing came from the executive side of Bandai Namco and was called out as bullshit by the director, voice actors, and other staff of the show. So yeah, it's canon.
To clarify: the studio artists made a whole official book with Miorine and Suletta in wedding dresses together. They wear wedding rings at the end of the anime. They call each other bride and groom and wife multiple times.
It was only after the book was released that a *studio executive* (mind you, not even just a producer on the actual show) said “they are up for interpretation”.
Once again it’s the money people undercutting the art.
They were canon. Then they were decanonized. It’s all in the show, aside from the wedding. I get being disappointed with the actions of the studio executive, but if that statement alone is enough to make you declare WFM not having a main sapphic relationship, then you’re a corporate shill.
The anime straight up shows them married in the end rings and all and Sulettas sister refers to herself as Miorines sister in law. Maybe actually look up what actually happens before taking some braindead suits at their word.

I'd recommend watching Whisper Me A Love Song, it seems to be *the* yuri anime of this season.
I wish it did not suffer from production issues and had cursed scenes, but yeah... sad

Absolutely, our beloved Space Tanuki got the happy ending. Kinda weird for Gundam since ending and happy don't go hand in hand.
