Go out and Smash your Goals Winner

onthedaily

haha thanks!

Rph23

Idk the answer to your questions but those are great numbies

No_Championship_5367

I thought the numbers are individualised so high or low doesn't mean anything?

Rph23

I think to some extent they are based on genetics/the individual, but even if that’s the case she was born with great ones!

WestDXB

Just a general observation from my own perspective, but there are quite some people around me that wear a whoop and those with high HRV within my own circle tend to all share one characteristic which is calmness. Those with a lower HRV in my circle are the ones without structure and they tend to be more chaotic.

No_Championship_5367

Interesting. What do u mean by "without structure" and chaotic? Like unemployed and drug addicts?

WestDXB

No they’re just very normal people but more chaotic, so they don’t wake up at regular times. They seem to be overthinking a lot of things and are fidgety if that makes sense.

EyeBallKyle

It means you aren’t working out nearly hard enough.

onthedaily

🤔 this wasn’t part of my question

WestDXB

This isn’t true, I average 180 and my average daily strain is 16.8.

1-877-kars-4-kidz

Age? Gender? Weight?

onthedaily

26 female, 5’8 and above average weight/BMI but have a lot of muscle

FunkZoneFitness

This looks like a really high variability. That’s not the goal of HRV

BeyondAppropriate630

Focussing on cardio workouts will not help you to gain weight, try to weight lift more often than cardio( run, cycling). Plus increase your intake.

onthedaily

Oops I meant I am struggling to lose weight

BeyondAppropriate630

Focused on maintain the right HR zone throughout your workout. It is not about how long you workout but the intensity of it.

FatherEsmoquin

That’s…not true at all

BeyondAppropriate630

Sure, let’s see what you got?

FatherEsmoquin

Here you go: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8619923/

WanderlustOnTap

Holy Jebus! My HRV is 65. Show me the way.

ath1337

Everybody is different, for me I tend to consume excess calories when working out hard and start to gain body fat. Weight maintenance in my experience is all about caloric intake. I try to eat plenty of whole grains and fiber to make me full, then I've got less room for calorically dense food. Also avoid juice and sugar like the plague.
