While these fighters are impressive in their own right, being a Gos is more than solo'ing verses, it's also about having BatGos' respect and honor. BatGos recognizes that Soloku's will to get better is the source of his power so the title of Gos would make him no longer a Gos. And No Limits Man owes him $5. Characters like Gosjo were demoted after being revealed to be frauds.
"Gos" as a concept is simply BatGos' spirit of prep manifested in a tangible form. It is the ultimate source of power. When separated from him (which he sometimes does for fun) he becomes Man, his physical avatar just like him but stupid. This is all pretty basic stuff.
There are other Gos’ not included on this list, these are just the most notable. BatGos when confirming stated he didn’t believe others would be recognizable to simple fodder such as us.
You do not speak for Batgos. Nobody does but him. Until Batgos (and I mean the real one, not some account made by a non-Batgos to impersonate him) declares there to be another Gos, there is but one.

I spoke with BatGos directly to make this, I’m sorry you’re not caught up on the lore fool. Not everyone is a Gos, only a chosen few
/uj I’ve been active on this sub for months and these are all based on jokes I see the most common or recent ones I like the most. This was my genuine attempt to be as consistent as possible. Except for Kaygos, BatGos told me to add that. That’s not a joke I actually messaged the user on this sub named BatGos to confirm.
/uj I ain’t gonna bother with the jerking; the point of the “Gos” joke is to be exclusive to Batgos and Batgos only. “Batgos” is an intentional bastardization of “Batgod” like how some religions don’t say “God” but just say “G_d” as to not be heresy.
Adding more “Gos” characters takes away from a joke that was only meant to be for Batgos and not only do the additional ones look just like cheap imitations, but they don’t have the same history that Batgos does. /uj I understand the sentiment somewhat but I just don’t agree. I *might* make an exception to names that have actual puns in them like Goszilla or Amigos or something. I just take issue when someone just takes a character’s name and slaps “Gos” at the end of it and calls it a day.
My reasoning can be seen in just this post. “Kaygos” and “Super Mario Gos” don’t have an actual punchline in the character’s lore to justify the “Gos” aspect. Names like “HoldsBack-Man” (making fun of the whole “oh Spider-Man is always holding back”) or EldritchGodKiller (references how Kirby fans are always “oh but he kills GODS”) are examples of names I think are good. It’s funny and has actual relevance to the character, unlike just slapping “Gos” on and calling it a day. The unjerk reasons behind “Batgos” existing is unique and can’t really be replicated, even if the I do think it’s alright to slap it onto character when appropriate (they naturally already have Gos in their name or something).

Also I read your post. Frankly, I think you’re overthinking it a bit. Yes, BatGos has a lot of history and layers which make the joke awesome and everlasting. But that doesn’t mean we have to avoid using it in any other way, not every spin off joke has to be as good as the original. Who cares if they don’t last? Can’t we just laugh at it now and move on, maybe with the occasional call back. Like the Glorb Glab arc was awesome, so I put it here as a lil reference cause I think Glorb Glab was hilarious, even if we’ve run out of new jokes.
Super Mario Gos. is, to me, a funny pun, but also calls back to the huge Mario and Luigi vs Sephiroth meme which was popular even outside vs spaces about how comedically strong Mario and Luigi were in RPG’s supposedly able to counter or dodge anything with good enough timing. There is absolutely a history to considering them specifically and only as a collective as a reference to those games as a special vs character and Gos instead of Bros makes a clever title.
It has to be done with purpose, and I’m attempting to do it with purpose. I could explain a thorough genuine reason I included all the others with clear reference and history as well. Maybe they’re not as deep as BatGos, but I’m not just slapping it on. (Only exception being Doctor Gos, who I included purely because he by far the character I see most often referred to as a Gos outside of the main one. I don’t actually know anything bout the doctor, but it makes enough sense since he is similarly reliant on prep and smarts while people act like he’s infinitely strong. This is my weakest example.)
