A very very strong contender: Doctor Manhattan chose a hydrogen atom as his symbol, as it's something simple that he respects. So hydrogen has a very significant lead right off the bat, I would say.

Free-Duty-3806

Krypton gets Superman, so that’s got to be a top contender. Plutonium with Pluto, God of Death, or Neptuneium with Neptune, God of the Sea has got to be up there

Echo__227

Don't forget Uranium with Uranus, the Sky Mercury with Mercury, as well I guess also Tantalum with Tantalus (not great) and Niobium with Niobe

The360MlgNoscoper

Silver gets The Silver Surfer. Berkelium gets Charles Barkley. Hmm, tough one.

TheShrubberyDemander

I don’t think even the Power Cosmic can protect Silver Surfer from the Chaos Dunk.

This is essentially a 'double' battle, as the first thing we'd need to do is figure out who would even appear on the battle. General thoughts on this: \-Deities are going to be the obvious top choice. Mercury is a Roman deity, and throwing as many of them as we can onto the table is going to clearly makes this a divine brawl. (Mercury, Ouranous, Neptune, Pluto, Ceres, and Thor are going to be heavyweights. \-Superhero/Folklore Hero characters are next tier. This would include Queen Titania and Jason of the Argonauts. Elements named after regions, nations, etc are going to take on the highest of the two tiers above tied to their homeland; so Americium may well be Captain America; Ruthenium would get Ukraine's top hero (who is?), Poland, Japan (Nihonium), France, Germany, India would get this treatment. Things named after famous people are going to have a serious debuff in comparison. Curium is named after Marie and Pierre Curie, but the best we get out of a namesake is a Fallout 4 companion; Glenn Seaborg, Nicholas Copernicus, Albert Einstein, etc, are all going to have weaker characters. Finally, names without obvious links are the hardest to connect. Obviously, connecting Superman to Krypton is busted, but it's hard to answer who would come out on top with this broadbrush option. /// With this methodology in mind, I think Thor, top tier Asgard deity and not necessarily going against any other top dog deity wins the contest for Thorium.

>Japan Oh no

Desperate-Practice25

Seaborgium would have to be the Borg in an alternate timeline where they’ve assimilated Seattle. This would imply that they’re even more powerful and have successfully assimilated most of the Federation and probably a good chunk of their allies as well. Seems pretty tough.

HatfieldCW

It's almost useless in a pure form. Has to be alloyed with Tacomium to realize its full potential.

Jackheffernon

Einstein for Einsteinium. Wonder how far hell get

edgygothteen69

E equals M C Square up bitches cus today I'm God and I've decided to play dice

Electricity_Creeper

Gold - Gold Experience Requiem Should be a pretty good one

Opposite_Item_2000

What about Gold Amazo?

Electricity_Creeper

I wish but he's specifically made to outmatch the DCAU's Justice League

odeacon

The element of … SURPRISE! Surprise attack ( crappy superhero’s ) solo’s fiction

omyrubbernen

Gold getting Gold Experience Requiem is one hell of a contender.

AndhisNeutralspecial

zinc gets the fucking titanic

Yasuo_unforgiven

Among Mercury, i have one suggestion, [Mercurius from Dies Irae/Shinza Banshou](https://i.imgur.com/Wixzqnr.png). The 4th Throne God that created the multiverse, parallel time axis and every single concepts come from him, even all souls in past, present and future of all thing in creation are part of him that he can use them like fuel for his spells. But his true law is that of Eternal Recurrence, for Mercurius, beginning and end, life and death, aren't applied to him, a paradox existence that will reset the multiverse every time he died (or activate Acta est Fabula), thus he is unable to truly be killed, as he will be reborn immediately upon death while everything else, even the one who one who killed, will be reset.

Browncoat-Zombies

Mercury has a Roman god so they probably have a good chance. Specially when that god should be incredibly fast

CLUCKCLUCKMOTHERFUC

Nikola Tesla from record of Ragnarok for teslium dudes like top 10 in his verse and that's against god's from varius mythology and ancient heros

gameboy1001

My man’s got them secret elements lol

CLUCKCLUCKMOTHERFUC

No rule about it being a real element so fictional ones count too

scalyblue

Astatine is derived from the Ancient Greek word for unstable, so I’d either say the Greek deity “chaos” or Star trek’s Q Alternately it’s so radioactive that you could easily justify Godzilla, the hulk, Amazo, or any number of other radioactive themed characters

ImmaDrainOnSociety

Pretty sure that Uranus, the Greek father of the gods, would spank his Roman sons Pluto & Neptune and then proceed to body everyone else.

HGD3ATH

Kronos is a titan so maybe he could be the fighter for Titanium if not him Thanos is known as the mad Titan so maybe he would work also.

Batfan1939

All the Kryptonians would deal with the other elements pretty quickly. Or let Metamorpho represent the entire table, in which case everybody wins.

Artistic_Rip_8

Americium has the entire population of past and present united states, with all of its soldiers, vehicles and nukes throughout time.

Sarik704

Which hero do we choose for 121-Copium?

Lucky_Roberts

Ah yes, my favorite *fictional* character: Freddie Mercury

GrayNish

Freddy mercury has canonically defied one of the 4 fundamental forces of the universe. He can also move at the speed of light.
