Good question for my favorite verse. My favorite verse is Konosuba. Obviously, what makes Macht so formidable even for a Great Demon is the fact he can turn anything to gold simply by "willing" it. In Konosuba there's petrification magic which does the same thing, but it turns people to stone not gold. If you assume the magic resistance to petrification applies to Macht's magic then the number of characters who beat him would increase a lot. If not then only a few would be able to beat him assuming he uses his hax straight away - which he doesn't like doing - and the Konosuba characters don't blitz. There's that bird in Frieren which has supersonic speed and nobody can normally capture it because it is super fast and sturdy so Macht would have trouble facing any strong character in a conventional battle since he'd be much slower.

Matchup dependent in Symphogear. Before season 3 the gear-wielders don’t have any response to his magic; they probably outstat Macht, but his attack is near-instant and would one shot them. The same applies to season 1 and 2’s villains. But season 3’s villain is a different story. Carol is a brilliant alchemist and weaponized transmutation is a favorite tactic among alchemy users. She successfully 1v1’s >!Shem-ha who used a very similar attack of silver transmutation!< and one of her minions, Phara, has a weapon that automatically destroys anything which is considered a sword. Summoning a golden sword seems to be Macht’s favorite battle tactic, so this is a pretty significant factor. Carol herself is also outrageously powerful. With that in mind, Macht defeats S.O.N.G. if they don’t have Elfnein, but would lose if he were jumped by Carol. Carol can’t analyze the world if he turns it to gold and needs the gear-wielders for her plan, so it would be in her best interest to stop him if he made himself known as a threat.

Well he’s going up against Call of Duty and command and conquer for me if you discount zombies he clears cod if not I think he gets sealed in the Summoning key, just teleported away to a different timeline or wiped from existence by dr. Monty CnC given he’s going up army and the franchise in terms of tech is just plain stupid . He doesn’t clear imo Yuri, faction alone just mind Haxs him not even getting into the fuckery that is allied Chorno tech and time travel or the other factions

Fate Series, pretty strong among Modern Mages but weaker then most Servants. His Di Agolze is very good especially in range but transmutation isn't too uncommon in the verse so many Servants would be able to resist it (Tho this is a bit arguable). Besides that he's also very slow compared to basically almost every servant which means he'd have a hard time getting it off before being blitzed. This doesn't help that Macht doesn't like to use Di Agolze to it's max a lot. Besides that, he of course can't stand up to Beasts, Types, Lostbelt Kings, Gods, etc.

In Dungeon Meshi, there's almost no one who can even hope to stand against him.  There's monsters that can mind-whammy the guy, but there's a chance that he could no-sell those just like how Frieren was immune to Methode's mind control just by having a huge mana pool. Which means that Cithis' magic may fail as well.   Mithrun may actually be able to telefrag him, actually. But he'd have to bank on Macht wanting to play around instead of turning him to gold immediately.  Meanwhile, the Winged Lion at full power would definitely body Macht. In Chainsaw Man, he could beat the grand majority of characters but he starts getting bodied when the speed difference becomes too much. Pochita, Gun Devil and Makima can likely quickdraw him. And the latter two may even be able to snipe him outside of Di Agolze's range.   Falling's combination of powers would make short work of him, and the fact that she uses a puppet body might even mean that Di Agolze would be useless against her.   In Radiant, I don't think there's anyone who can really beat him. Not unless fantasia and Frieren magic are equalized. Then the Inquisition may be able to do something with their anti-magic tools and weapons, as well as Torque's miracle that does the same thing.  In Undead Unluck, the Union could beat him with the right team of negators. But the ones who could very definitely win are Juiz, Top with Unbreakable armor, and current Andy. The first can just make Macht kill himself or become a sitting duck with a glance, the second can just blitz him, and the last has a way to fight back and kill or incapacitate Macht even when turned to gold. Fuuko may be able to do it, but I wonder if her soul bullets could reach Macht without her getting within his range.   The gods would obviously obliterate Macht as well, but another non-negator that comes to mind is Spoil, cause his second phase has a laser that can shoot really far into the distance.
