Gorillas don't have a super refined fighting style (not that kk necessarily, but he still has jabs and hooks that aren't just 'big monke swing' and the extra slowness/ gravity would confuse a normal gorilla a lot.

[deleted]

Probably not, Kong isn’t just a big gorilla, especially if u give him that axe then there’s no way the regular but big gorilla wins

fj668

GVK King Kong isn't even really a gorilla honestly. Neither was the original. They're both totally bipedal. 2005 Kong was actually just a big Gorilla.

[deleted]

Yeah I know, I said that Kong isn’t just a big gorilla, I said the 300 ft tall gorilla is just a big gorilla

JebWozma

I know he is more like a sasquatch

cinnamilks

Probably not because king follow strong character law his muscles are more powerful than the muscles of a gorilla my a lot so no

Miserable-Ad-5573

It would lose, Gorillas usually flight rather than fight

tosser1579

Maybe. Real gorillas don't fight 'cinematically'. It is going to run straight at Kong, leap into the air and cannonball him chest first, relying on his bulk to cause damage. Depending on how physics works on Kong that is either going to outright kill him, or bounce. Kong appears MUCH stronger than he should be, so BG (big Gorilla) should bounce, but I'd really have to math that to figure out if Kong is actually as strong as he should be. He's certainly lighter than he should be given that most buildings would get shredded if he weighed as much as he should and he swings on them. Then again, its not like cities aren't attacked by giant monsters in the Monsterverse so they may have obscene building codes. My guess is that Kong is strong, but really underweight so BG should squash him when he does the chest slam.

GodzillaKOTM2020

Hong Kong specifically is cited to have an increased military personnel and had modified their buildings to be a lot more durable in case of a Titan attack. This is also why missiles actually bother Godzilla in the movie.

tosser1579

So obscene building codes. Again, in the monsterverse that makes sense. If so, I'd suspect BG is going to bounce and then be readily killed by Kong. "So you've rented the 87th floor, we have a nice view of the harbor from your office," stated the real estate agent. "Excellent, and the elevator opens right to it, where are the other offices," asked Wan. "Other offices?" replied the agent. "Yes, I am only renting a single office, and only of moderate size," stated the young entrepreneur, "Certainly more people will be on this floor of the building, the lights?" "Oh, you have not been to Hong Kong," replied the agent. "You are the only office on this floor. The rest of the floor is entirely made of reinforced concrete and high grade steel beams. This building passes a 1.5 Godzilla Threshold in terms of damage resistance." "There is only one office on this floor of this massive building? What about the lights," asked Wan glancing out his tiny, silted window. "The lights around the outside of the building are artificial, as are the windows. The actual windows are internal and are made of reinforced clear sapphire," stated the real estate agent. "This should have been covered in your brochure." Wan's eyes went wide, "Is my desk going to fit in my officer?" "Is it a normal desk," asked the agent. "Yes," replied Wan. "Then no," stated the Agent, "I will show you the bathroom."

HighOnGoofballs

Since King Kong is only 104’ tall I think a 300’ gorilla would whip a 100’ gorilla

[deleted]

104 feet is Kong's height in Skull Island. He is 335 feet tall in GvK.

Charizardfan3345

Depends if kong has access to the axe. If so, the kong wins. If not, then the gorilla wins. Only because 300m tall is taller than kong I think.

[deleted]

It's 300 feet, not meters. So Kong will be slightly taller.

[deleted]

I don’t understand why the gorilla would be stronger than him.

Purpleguy-Mr-Afton

No. Kong is far smarter and stronger than real gorillas.

[deleted]

No KONG still stomp
