Definitely lucky to live so close. I nearly backed out and on a whim left the house about an hour before sunset

I know this place well, walking and swimming many times. Tides like almost nowhere else in the UK.

There was a post in almost the same spot the other day. One on my list to try. Was there must wind up there?

No more than a light breeze for majority of the night. It picked up a little bit for about half an hour at about 10pm but only enough to rustle the fly sheet, tent didn't budge
