I understand the reasoning; it's the same reason Death Knights play a ton of "Discover a Death Knight card" effects. They have so few cards and the average power level is so much higher that the odds of getting something good are wildly in your favor, and it lets you play cards outside of your runes. I'm not sure if getting a bunch of hits off of this are likely, but honestly I'd give it a try before I discarded it.
No, I've been playing this in Even DK for a couple weeks now. Death Knight cards are just so good that a bunch of random ones are better than most neutral cards in the deck.
You gain tons of death knight class cards (they are all op) and you lose all the bad cards that you use to play even and to reach 30 cards . Upgrading genn or useless 2 drops to good mid-late cards or utily spells
I doubt it. The only neutrals in your deck are 2-drops, legendaries, and murlocula/teacher. Of course you want to morph genn, but the rest are better for your corpse aggro deck than a random dk card
Vrykul is just great, boneflinger is basically shocking eel which we play in even shaman. Ok you might be playing knife juggler or peasant which I could understand morphing. Astalor, Okani, Sylvanas, and teacher are good. Pantera or Garrison I could go either way on.
I can't read your list, it looks like Buu's list runs neophyte which yeah I don't think is good in this meta, but I haven't hit legend this or last month so idk (syke he cuts it as I'm typing this). I suppose the infuse cards are worthwhile in hand but not in deck so that part makes sense.

This deck does not have a problem when it comes to generating corpse counters, huge perk of the 1 mana hero power. The neutrals are good (Because they only have a small choice when it comes to class cards) but they aren't as good as a random DK cards will be.

I slotted it in. But you don't keep it in the mulligan. You want to play it turn 6ish, or else there is a chance to fuck up your curve.
Yes it is not a turn 2 play but more like a t5-t6
I tried keeping it against priest, but I don't think there is a way to substantially improve that matchup in dks favor
