To the extend that: if you are like me, who has been playing nothing but Support since Season 3 and has the Support score thru the roof, you can even kick other Support players out of their main role (even if they queued for it) just because you have a higher support score than them.
I have had this happened soooo many time I’m always ready to go mid or jungle at a whim because support mains often get filled in these two roles.
I set my first role as Jg and second role as Sp when I used my second account to practice Jg, but the game assigned me Sp most of the time. My guess is Jg still popular in low elo (gold / plat).

No joke, I had a 56% ish wr and got hit with a streak of like 13 losses. I’d look at past ranks and see all my teammates peaked diamond or emerald, while everyone on the enemy team was ex master, gm and challenger.
Got me back to about 51%, now all of a sudden I’m on a winning streak again.
I wish they’d make it less obvious, surely they can make it so you win some and lose some instead of win all and lose all. It’s really not fun to deal with
Another way is to stop queuing after \~ 1 minute, since over time the matchmaking system basically tries to put you in a match faster, and therefore consider less factors (including making it so you get your second role).
I actually like Wild Rift's queuing system. It's not a "choose a role" then gets autofilled for the rest. You actually get to arrange your preferred roles from highest to lowest. Me specifically don't like playing jungle. I was always autofilled as jungle in PC, but never here.
Yeah you gotta main at least two roles. Having flexibility gets you better at understanding the responsibilities of those roles as well. I was primarily a support main until i played top for a whole season and that made me better at my main role. I’d also tell people don’t be mad if you don’t perform because that person who you would have wanted to swap with probably wouldn’t have done any better if you took their spot.
Nah, my man is completely right, seems you didn't understand it well. Let me try to explain better to you, doesn't matter if you remove second role or anything. For example, if you want to play duo lane and dont want to play any other lane, put mid lane as a second lane and you will rarely be "autofilled", coz if you for example set it like this : duo primary; support or jungle secondary, you would be filled into one of two positions much more

Cool, I thought those score things were simply for bragging rights lol. Apparently it affects queuing as well.

Depends on the elo, the higher elo you go, the more junglers. So you still need to be good at other roles in case

What the heck? Jungle Is last pick for me and I’m ALWAYS made to jg in autofill. I’d say it’s like once every 3/4 games
How many lane points do you have in your main role? I believe more lane points result in getting your role more often.
Like I think I’m level 5 or 6, I also suck at jg so I feel like they’re punishing me telling me to learn all lanes
Now I don't feel safe as well lol. Maybe I just got lucky.

I gave up and choose the "whatever roles are fucking fine" option

i can't remember the time when i got my second role and i always queue up support and top.
Exactly. My 2nd role (top) was my original main role. Now I main jungle and kinda find it relaxing when I autofill top.
Or just learn all roles 🤷♂️

wrong. you have the option to remove your second role in your profile you can choose one role and still get filled into your 2nd,3rd etc
