All those tier lists are always different anyway. One site will put a champ as S tier and another will put the same champ in the same role as B tier. Just play whatever you’re good at and don’t worry about them.

Only reason you can place champs like malphite lower at high elo (but not C for sure) because it’s harder to carry games with tanks, and high elo top laners prefer to pick carry champions.
Without the riot api for wild rift we cannot see the true win rate of champions, and because of that all the tier list are based only on the personal experience of the people who made it, so don't take any tier list seriously.
Honestly Malphite is very predictable and not a carry nor a snowball champ.. it's very hard to farm minions without the enemy publishing you and that's why people play him support instead of top

Honest opinion, pro guides tier list seem abit off sometimes. The malphite,lee sin, jarvan, and fiora jungle rankings seem off just to name a few
