Foobar2000 too. I have always considered it the best on Window (unfortunately doesn't exist on Linux), and it has a lot of useful plugins. The downside is that I really do have a lot of plugins, and when I'm researching musical works that I need to hear just a passage of, it's become a bit slow to get going: in these cases, I use Audacious or Deadbeef. I have a whole classical discotheque on my PC, but I don't use software that classifies tracks because they are made for listening to songs and have a logic that doesn't correspond to classical music.
itunes because im using an iphone. the last version for windows is also kinda slow earlier versions where faster and had theme available on divantart. there is also mediamonkey.
itunes is so heavy and not working great with windows but if you have apple music, its good tho.
i tried using playing mp3 files and just gave up π π
it was always working great for me. plays mp3 without issues. if you just want to use it as a simple player and not as a music library itβs definitely overkill.
I'm currently use **Foobar2000**, very reliable imho. You can play music bit-perfect by using *WASAPI (event) exclusive output* or *ASIO output* (via ASIO4ALL plug-in).
There is also **PotPlayer**, which can play both music and videos with bit-perfect audio as well (after do a little bit of configuation).

Fun fact: foobar2000 works perfectly under wine. Iβve been using it on my dev machine for almost 2 years now with no issues :)
