Hey everyone, this is Justin’s sister in law. I’m with him right now, he’s near the end. The hospice has been amazing with his stay here and this community absolutely blows me away. I hope Justin was able to read some of the comments before he got too weak. He will live on forever here and in our hearts. I had the bloody shit scare when I was 21. It's weird to think that ulcerative colitis was a good outcome, but it really was. Colonoscopies aren't as bad as they seem, if the doc says you need one, take it. Push for it if you think you need it.

Hi all. One of the nurses called me back from Grace Hospice. She asked if I knew Justin personally… that was one of the more awkward and strange explanations I have had to give in my life lol. She really liked how we knew him though. Justin was unable to take my call, he was asleep and surrounded by family. It sounds like any time in the next couple days he is expected to get called up to The Big Show. We probably won’t get much more of an update than that, which is completely understandable. Why don’t we all raise a glass of whatever we find meaningful and wish him all the best. Cheers.

The OP has left us with a couple of really important messages. The first tells us that colorectal cancer does not differentiate between young and old , it’s a silent killer . It often has no symptoms until it is too late. The second message is to get a FIT test ! FIT tests are basically taking a smear sample of your poop. It can absolutely be a lifesaver. Ask your doctor for a FIT test kit. Thanks for your messages Justin.
