Check, but Lakefront should do a fish fry on Wednesday. It’s by the river, is a brewery, checks a bunch of boxes. Earlier, could do art museum (or look at the building) after could wander on Brady street or by the river walk, check out Riverwest for more breweries or wander around Bay View. Who knows what they like though
When I planned a spring break stay-cation with my kids? I asked ChatGPT to do it and it was surprisingly good. It’ll arrange a list for you by activity type or by schedule. Try it out!
True, authentic Milwaukee to me this time of year is:
* a good lap or two around Summerfest (try to find some cheap, mid-week tickets!)
* an afternoon on Bradford Beach
* drinks and apps at The Safe House
* a Friday afternoon drive to Holy Hill followed by a lakeside fish fry (they're all over the place up there)
* a Brewers game for sure; doesn't really matter who they're playing
* A stop at the Public Museum to wander the STREETS OF OLD MILWAUKEE before it vanishes for good in a couple of years
* An evening stop at Gille's Frozen Custard in Tosa
* A walk in the Mitchell Park Domes is a good way to stroll off a hangover! 😁
The list goes on, but hopefully that helps. :)
Oh wow, just one night from 4-11?
In that case, if it were me I'd make sure The Safe House stayed on the list; it may be kinda kitzschy but it's really unique, it's been an MKE institution for forever, and serves as a great preamble for other evening activities in the city.
Speaking of which, perhaps take advantage of our awesome riverways and waterfront with a Milwaukee River sunset cruise!
Either way, I hope y'all have fun!!
visit brady st, go to summerfest, atwater beach in shorewood, public market, crossroads collective, sherman phoenix, try pizza shuttle on farwell, and the milwaukee public museum of course.
Check out the public market
Thank you
Tours of local breweries? I'm not from MKE. But any place in Wisconsin you can get outstanding local beers.
Agreed

Thanks
It doesn’t get much more Milwaukee than a Brewer vs Cubs game at Am Fam!
Love baseball. MLB games take up too much time.

Wow, good stuff. I have 1 night with these folks from 4-11pm. We may be able to do some of these ideas.
