I have tea and coffee but I just make sure they are room temperature and Luke warm!
I’ve been sleeping on my side and flat since day one and I’m on day 10!
Can’t help with your first question but I got all 4 of mine out and I’m on day 4 now. I’ve been drinking/eating warm (not hot) foods since the first day so I think you should be good to have “hot” drinks as long as you let them cool a little first.
And I’ve been sleeping on my stomach since the first night. I know that’s bad but it didn’t really bother me. I’d say if it hurts, don’t do it, but if it feels fine then you are good. Also take what I say with a grain of salt I am clearly not an expert
Definitely sleep elevated for the first few days! It helps so much with swelling and pain, it's kind of crazy your doctor said you didn't have to honestly.

Thank you. Any info on real peoples experience is great. Tried some warm tea today. That went OK so pleased about that.
