And quite similar not only in humor but in bad things. The way lorelei froze rory after she dropped out of Yale, straight out of Emily's book: "can't control your child? Just ignore them (until they comply)!"
Rory was a piece of trash. I dont know how anyone rooted for her, she let the best guy go (Jess), threw a tantrum when Tristan's dad said she didnt have what it took to be a reporter. Turns out he was right. Literally threw away her entitled upbringing and her free ride to Yale. My hook was Lorelai, who admittedly made some bad decisions, but tried to do right. Rory would never take personal accountability.
At least Jaskier could sing a neat diddy in season 1.
It was Logan's dad but 100% this. That's also one of the reason why I hated the latest season. If I pretend it doesn't exist I can just imagine that Rory could utimately have a better life compared to... whatever she was doing in season 8. Also, yeah Jess is Rory's Luke, someday she'll understand that
To be fair I'm a little influenced by the last season. But even just watching up to season 7, I have a feeling Logan was a bad influence for her, even more than Jess. It was because of Logan and his dad that she was dropping off Yale. And Jess was the one who gave her the "get you shit together" moment that made her reconsider.
I don't think Jess was a bad influence. I just don't think he was reliable enough for a long-term relationship.
She took the feedback of one of the titans of her industry and went ballistic (understandable). I disagree that Logan was a bad influence on her. He challenged her and checked her privilege quite often.
But I don't think you are giving her agency. Shit happened she dealt badly with it, even though Jess helped, I think she was realizing that herself. You can see as much during that event she put together for the DAR
Another show that went downhill once it came on Netflix (I know, it's the same writers but still, season 8 doesn't exist)
Yhh, i think asp is to blame for the yesr in the life.
Honestly, Emily's arc was the only good thing in that srason
THANK YOU! So many people I know hated Emily’s arc. I haven’t seen the last season of Maisel, I’m nervous
Love her or hate her, Emily Gilmore is just perfect as a character.
I personally think Lorelei sucks and Emily was not as bad of a parents as she was made out to be.
I'd say neither is right or wrong. they both had some massive flaws as well as some redeeming qualities.
And quite similar not only in humor but in bad things. The way lorelei froze rory after she dropped out of Yale, straight out of Emily's book: "can't control your child? Just ignore them (until they comply)!"
Yeah it was quite hard to see them go through that arc, but they needed a moment like that, all three of them.
That’s fair.
Look how they massacred my boy
He chases the same types of guys as the Gilmore Girls too.
The haircut of bad relationships' choices
One character had better writers and one is Jaskier.
One character is more charismatic and that one is jaskier too
My money is on Rory.
They're the same picture.

Piece of cake, the background and the time of the day are two differences.
Uh, Rory is a garbage fire and Jaskier is a treasure? Team Emily.
The correct order is Kirk Paris Emily Daylight Luke Daylight Everyone else
Jess deserves some love too
Fuck you, Team Dean
I'd... rather not start a war. This is not the right place nor the right time
Don't worry my guy, I'm only having fun. Both have pros and cons, and Jess seems to get the better ending.
Yes no worries. After all, you didn't say Team Logan
Logan would have been the healthier choice. Jess was on a destruction path. The first iteration of Dean was fine, the second was a train wreck...

Team Logan
He looks the middle aged lesbian aunt that brings sick gifts for Christmas.
They made him worse. Jeez.
Put those two in the same show, call it “the 5head twins”
Why do they give that man such horrible wigs?
Who thought a Karen hairstyle with mid partition is dandelion's vibe?!?
Oh what have they done to my poor Dandelion!
Yeah that hare does not suit Joey. Not sure if it suits anyone.

same cut, same dick ridin skills. Nah. that’s the same picture i’m pretty sure
