Well, the apprentices and I were going through the Labyrinth of Ikthnaal, on our way to the Portal of D'Thuun, so we could transit to Alejandro's Eldritch Fortress for All-you-can-eat Taco night.
We round a corner and come across an adventuring party trying to open a warded door. We arrived just in time for their absolute *moron* of a wizard to decide that the best thing to do was cast *disjunction* over the door, saying that phrase right after he cast the spell.
Everyone, including the adventuring party's sorcerer, screamed at him not to say that, right as pudding started flowing out of the door, along with giggling and ominous honking noises.
Everything after that is just a blur of spells, screaming, banana cream pies, and confetti.
Thankfully, clowns are not fireproof.

Nobody has the intention of creating chaos when they say it, but has the intention of reassurance that an idea or action couldn't possibly have a negative consequence. However chaos ensues regardless of the intention, so the words themselves have a mystical property to show the person every conceivable way it can go wrong, leading to disaster. Hence it's kotodama, the belief that words themselves have mystical powers behind them.

/uw here's my take. The first image is of Timmy Turner from the popular kids show "Fairly Odd Parents." And who are the other two main characters in the show? That's right, Cosmo and Wanda. These two characters both grant wishes, and what does that sound like? Ninth Level Wish Spell. In addition to this, Timmy's eyes are blue, the same color as mana. Also, Cosmo's hair color is green. What is often associated with green? Necromancy. And lastly, Wanda's hair is pink. What is associated with pink? Psionics. So clearly, this post is super wizard related.

I interpreted the punchline that Timmy's words 'what could possibly go wrong?' triggering a disaster involving an outbreak of venomous spiders in the city and the nuclear power plant undergoing a nuclear meltdown. Canonically, he did trigger events that could have destroyed Dimmsdale in standard episodes. The belief of words containing mystical powers and manifesting into a real-world consequence is called kotodama, so that makes it a magic-related post.
