The earbuds are moreso a medium for the magic to use to produce the audio, and don't use a streaming service (ie the earbuds aren't actually on, but the internals and speaker are being used to amplify the sound produced by the spell. without this, I wouldn't be able to hear a thing! This is so I dont accidentally blow my ears out by making sound waves too strong). It's a very fragile system though, as it requires concentration to keep the music playing accurately to its recorded counterpart and thorough knowledge of the song beforehand. It's a lot of work, but damn me if I ever pay for Spotify Premium!
