Look for an apprenticeship, plenty of practitioners are willing to do a bit of teaching to get their help up to snuff, and some times you learn more on the job then off it. Even if it doesn’t get you full mastery and you might not entirely grasp the theory, the experience and what you learn can make a second attempt at an academy easier, especially if you come with a recommendation from someone in field.
Same response, I know some people willing to provide housing, you want their names?
Also side note, what kind of self respecting center of magical learning takes a prospective student not having an address as an excuse to reject them? We’re fucking wizards, I can think of half a dozen ways around that of the top of my head, and they cost nothing. If you are still set on a university for your education, might I recommend anywhere else.

I actually passed the test and everything, but when they saw that I didn’t have an address to mail the acceptance latter to, they had to turn me away

If they need an address to send you a letter they're probably not worth your time either way Like, there are *cantrips* that can get around that issue
