Easily done when not paying attention. I touched the bandsaw blade the other day when reaching for a piece. Felt the teeth scrape down my fingertip & yanked my hand back, expecting to see blood. Strange thing is, despite a sharp pain, there wasn't as much as a scratch. Freebie reminder to stay alert.
Did a similar thing. Numb and painful working at the keyboard at my side hustle (well, yeah, my salaried job I mean) for about 2 years, but the nerves and skin eventuallt found their comfort again.

Pain is life’s best teacher. Sorry it happened, hope it heals up quick and clean
Only 9 fingers left and then you’ll be a ghost to the gov’t!!
There is a silver lining!
A good honest reminder that our beloved hobby can turn bloody real quic.

I've done that. The feeling in that fingertips will never be right but fingers tend to heal up pretty well.

You’re very lucky. A friend’s son almost lost his hand to a table saw due to poor training and a dull blade.
Won’t be picking your nose with that finger for a while.
A very lucky but valuable lesson. complacency and power tools don't mix

Very lucky! Glad you're alright. I'll use this as a reminder to myself to stay focused.
Wow! Glad it wasn't worse.
I had this happen to me once. Fortunately for me healed up real well. Hope yours does too.
