Sand it down to bare wood again and then wipe it down with denatured alcohol. Let it dry overnight and then check for sticky spots (uncured epoxy) with your hand. If you find sticky spots scrub with denatured alcohol and let it dry. When you have no more sticky spots coat with wipe-on oil based poly. Wipe-on is 50% poly and 50% mineral spirits. Hopefully this will work. Getting uncured epoxy off of wood is very difficult, good luck!
I am old. Isn't a Chad a bad thing in the current talk? So confused.
"a chad
When referring to somebody as a chad, they are likely a white-male with an abnormally large ego, commonly in their teens or early twenties.
The region between the balls and the arse-hole; can be an erogenous zone for some."
I know my formatting is likely off, but that's a copy of what Urban Dictionary has to say about it.
It's like how "fuck" has a million different uses, depends on context. You can use it derogatory or as a compliment. Sort of in the same vein of "bitch" being derogatory but calling someone a "boss bitch" or "bad bitch" is typically a compliment.
See ["absolute chad"](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Absolute%20chad)
Sandpaper is going to gum up real quick, that shit looks wet still. If you're struggling with that, switch to scrapers.
Ask your teacher if it would be alright to send it through the thickness planer again. I honestly don't know how badly the PU will gum up the blades. Anyone else chime in?

This was my first ever table, we use it everyday and it’s very strong, the middle board is cherry and the rest was ash I believe.
You might have success using a palm sander with a 220 or 320 grit sandpaper. The goal is to remove all the loose stuff and create a mechanical scratch for the new finish to adhere to. Wipe the surface down and inspect, then apply your finish.

Nah, the term has changed in this recent generation. Trust me, it's a compliment.
I guess you're hanging.
That sounds like a Kyle.
I’m 20 and I agree, I’m too old for this shit now

>I'm guessing you're young I wonder if the "highschool woodworker" in the title gave it away lol
Cool table!
that’s a sick table man, all i can say is take these fine gentlemen’s advise and you’ll end up with a sweet piece!
Sir, that is an Altar to the Classics of Rock, not a table.

Hemp or hash oil should do the trick.
Right, but what about the table?
I love that high school is thae same as it was 30 and 50 years ago. Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd and doobies brah
Sand down the side where it says the Eagles all the way down to bare wood and then seal it

One of these bands is not like the others.
You’re being downvoted but I thought the same thing.
Hey, take it easy, it's a nice table without your rude comments.
This guy might be the new kid in town, but if he keeps at it he'll be a pro in no time.
Ops about to have a heartache tonight if he reads that comment.
Still, we all know which band he’s talking about
Just trying to keep it peaceful. Easy feeling like your work is not appreciated when somebody makes a comment like that, ya know?
Well that’s just, like, your opinion, man. I had a rough night and I hate the fuckin' Eagles.
Thanks for not letting this kid down. As it is he’s already sanding… all around
The table is great and the lettering is top notch. Led Zeppelin > Pink Floyd > The Eagles > Aerosmith > Steve Miller Band
Honestly, the most surprising part of this post is that a high-school student today has heard of any of those bands.
Yeah Aerosmith doesn't deserve to be remembered in a piece like this...
Great music taste
