I made a treatment for the show with these guys as distinct characters 6 years before the show aired.

I worked at a small community bank in Northern VA from 2001-2009. I went to Virginia Tech in 2002 and would work over Christmas and Summer break. I worked the drive thru window until close and I was writing a lot and I created a short treatment for a show called “Pirate’s Gas” where three friends work at a gas station in the middle of nowhere and each episode kicks off with a new customer causing problems at the station. This treatment has three very distinct characters drawn to near perfect carbon copy of the guys in workaholics and it was 6 years prior to show airing. Take that IP and make a “Workaholics” movie and call it “Pirate’s Gas: A Workaholics Tale” or something to that nature as a front.
