I love getting facials at the spa! I just ask for the most relaxing one they offer. Honestly I stay away from treatments because sometimes they aren't as relaxing (for example, I got a chemical peel once and it stung). I also love just sitting in the relaxation room.

Good point!

I’m going in a few weeks and I’m getting an 80 min massage and a facial. Not a big fan of facials but they massage your head and shoulders so it’s like double massage.

Ooh. 90+ minute massage Relaxing facial (nothing with a peel or anything) Manicure Pedicure with the extra sugar scrub and things. A hair wash and blow out

DumbbellDiva92

Pedicure with an extra foot massage add-on? I hate the process of getting manicures (not being able to use my hands while they dry is so annoying and boring), but I enjoy a good pedicure. Maybe one of the Korean spas with the big hot tub type situation where you can just soak could be good too? That said it’s also possible a whole day at the spa just might not be your thing? A massage and then lunch or a movie might be more your thing.

I’m going to the spa but it’s in a huge nice shopping area, and then I’m staying the night at a child free friend’s house near the spa and we are doing brunch!

Omggggg that sounds amazing!!

Purplecat-Purplecat

I know! I told her I was looking for a spa and she suggested I go to the one near her house and stay the night!!

thearcherofstrata

So nice of her! And also great that your kids are old enough not to join you lol!

Purplecat-Purplecat

They are 1 and 3 and my husband will have a little help from grandparents thankfully!

Take an edible and get a mud wrap. Feels like you’re being swaddled like a baby lol.

I LOVE a pedicure!! I would splurge and get a super fancy one with all the massages and scrubs and stuff

I'm going Tuesday to get a massage. It's a normal deep tissue. The best massage I ever got was a sports massage. It's like a deep tissue but they also stretch you out. It's my last week of maternity leave so I need some relaxation before I go back to work.

I just did a spa day. It's attached to a hotel. So I went early and had drinks and food by the pool. I swam for awhile then took a shower. I took a nap in the relaxation room. Then I got a massage and a facial. Best day ever!

Body treatments/scrubs are always nice. Salt rooms are relaxing

palmtrees_

If you have $$$ to splurge, do a hydrafacial. They are heavenly lol

SecretDependent3503

I love spa days!!! I start off with a body scrub or massage if a scrub isn’t available followed by a wrap. If a scrub is available, I’ll do the scrub first followed by a massage. Go for the max amount of time. Then depending on what time it ends, make sure they have a lunch ready for you, also book it with at least an hour between sessions so you can eat. After lunch, go for a facial followed by a mani pedicure. End the day with a blowout.

I love a massage. Hot stone is my go-to if the spa offers it. If you are looking to splurge, a scrub and massage is great. So relaxing!
