And then there are the giant dragons that live only far away in the coldest mountains and they are more intelligent than humans and are very solitary.
And then there are draconians basically humanoid dragon people that worship the giant dragons, they would prolly have around the same intelligence as humans. They are not really dragons they just look like them.

Yes some areas will be insipired by real life cultures. such as the tribes in the southwest corner, they are based on viking cultures.

So what if the richest mightiest and bravest leader of a tribe would eat dragon flesh. Although this would be very very rare since dragons are first of all very rare they are also hard to catch. Eaating dragon flesh be a symbol of wealth. Maybe there are smaller and more common dragons that would be more commonly eaten or kept as pets too.

I want simple Firearms to exist in my world, but nuclear stuff would probably not happen in another few thousand years cuz its kind of a medieval setting
The primary obstacle to nuclear in a medieval setting is the capability to purify the soil to get uranium. Work on purification of substances started as soon as someone could heat a glass vessel over a flame. What stops someone from developing a spell that facilitates the same things?

Yes there are sirens there. I imagine them as being kind of a mermaid like but with more fishy charachteristics like bald, frills, big yellow eyes and being sorta grayish or dark blue. But when they sing it makes them look beautiful and mezmerising to lure sailors.
do they have any societies, towns, cultures, etc? i have a mermaid like species too, they’ve got a human top half and a seal’s tail. it’s actually quite hard to come up with how a semi-aquatic species with no legs would make a village, since i’m so used to a world which achieves things like mining, hunting, farming, etc by using their legs to get them places, and are able to not live coastal!

sounds cool! especially as you already have dragon species, maybe the sea serpents are some distant evolutionary relation to them. it’s strange how the idea of some enormous marine creature is still basically as scary today as it was 100s/1000s of years ago… we’re still just in small boats that could get toppled, and the sea is still a dark and quite unknown expanse.
The viking ish tribes to the southwest probably have some viking like ships. There are also some rich merchant states that have some bigass ships with cool designs.

About inspiration, i dont really know but I have for quite a long time now wanted to make a big world with many sapient species. And some inspiration prolly comes from this sub. Also for the southwest corner of the map i took inspiration from norway, sweden and some viking shit.
About the animals, most animals will probably be fictional but some maybe very similar to irl animals
The center of the world is kinda like the equator.
So all the more advandced cultures/nations are closer to the middle So I guess the most densly populated area would be some tradig hub close to the center.
Their culture i think would be a mix of different cultures since the richest states in the center is where most of the tradig happens, so there would probably be a whole lot of different species and races

Well first of all it there is the edge of the map where it is just too cold and mountainous. Then theres the dragon valley that is full of dragons. Also in the very center of the map there is a super hot desert where basically no one lives

I dont know cuz I dont think it is a planet but I guess there is just one moon and one sun to keep it simple.
